Heighington and Woods confident ahead of Rabbitohs clash

Chris Heighington and Aaron Woods say the Wests Tigers pack is looking forward to the challenge of taking on a big Rabbitohs side at ANZ Stadium this Sunday.
Full of big name players including Sam Burgess, Dave Taylor and Michael Crocker, the South Sydney side has been a handful for most teams this season with Michael Maguire’s men reeling off four straight wins to be third on the ladder after 20 rounds.
“The two Burgess brothers, Luke and Sam, are playing really well. We’re going to have to be in form,'' Heighington said.
"I thought we went alright against the Cowboys so if we take that sort of confidence and form going into the game we should be ok.
“It’s going to be a hard game for us but we’ve still got Benji and Robbie there. They are our leaders and there the guys that steer us around so we’re in with a chance.
“They’ve beaten us a few times in golden point. It’s usually a good contest. It’s usually a good game to go out and watch so I’m sure there will be a big crowd.
“With them losing (Greg) Inglis but now they get (Nathan) Merritt into that role is just as bad for us. I really rate Merritt at the back. I think he’s scored a ridiculous amount of tries in a ridiculous amount of games."
Despite going into the match as underdogs, Woods assured Wests Tigers Members and fans that the team would be ready come kick-off time on Sunday.
“They’ve (Souths) been awesome all year. You just have to go back and prepare like you do each week,'' Woods said.
“You know what they’re going to come at you with so you just have to train hard and work for it."
