Ummm, Ellis. In fact I'd keep Galea, Akeripa, Gower and Mataka ahead of Heighno without hesitation.

here we go

You have to be kidding about Galea he's 30 metres and 3 miss tackles a game is awesome eh :unamused:
Mataka is good but hes defense is pretty crappy Heighnington is much better on d
Gower hasnt even played f/g yet and already hes being labled the next big thing

For the money Heighno is on he's a myth. If we lose one of those young backrowers because we have the myth signed up for good dollars i'll be shattered. All will be better players and more importantly, better suited to our style.

Galea is over-rated he offers nothing
Mataka i agree with but rhino is a much better player right now
if we keep putting these young guys in before there ready there gonna turn out like the last group we had

Yeh i agree with that X-Pac, (except the Galea bit). But i think this group of youngsters are much more ready than the last lot because they are much better players.

i hope so but theres a lot of people around here they dont relize it take time andmost of these players cant come into first grade and be great
i like what i see in Mataka but i just feel i would take heighnington right now cause we are pushing for a finals spot
its a bit like Collis and Ayshford ,right now i would perfer collis until ayshford can get hes defense right esp while we are pushing forthe finals

I'ld go with Ellis. Heighinton hasn't been around the last few weeks and I haven't felt the difference to when he was there.

Ellis is very intimidating and effective. Hino has a high work rate but isn't as intimidating. Every side needs both kinds of back rower. If I had to pick, Ellis.

Ive felt a difference with Heighno out, we're a better team.

Where a better team cause they are playing better….the amount of mistakes we still make yet even after the Cows scored after 44 sec... we held them tryless for the next 65 minutes or so....Do that and you will win more than you lose....Hell we even scored 12 pts with Robbie off the field....

Heighington adds more than Mataka and Dwyer at the moment and when fully fit starts at lock but Sheens must interchange him IMO...He's not a Myth he's just not as effective as an 80min player anymore...it takes it's toll....

what a gee up this topic is …..
we have both so why do we have to compare ....
both in form equal a dynamic back row pairing... the rhino has.... and still is a stalwart to our club ...
if hino made himself available for england he would partner ellis at the highest level ....

the back row isnt where our dramas lie ....at last the coach has started to pick a 1 at 1 a 6 at 6 and a7at 7

LOL!!!

Perhaps the **BOLDED "HYPOTHETICAL"** statement in the original post wasn't enough emphasis to stipulate that this was not an important question?

Find it hard to believe the amount of people putting the boot into Rhino. What has Ellis done this season that has been that special?
