What I can't understand is how Lyon and Brett Stewart and the other two clowns who ran in and all started laying into blair when he was being pinned didn't get binned either.

SO Stewart gets 10 in the bin and waits on the sideline for Blair…..Stewart thows the first punch.....Blair has no choice but to defend himself, and Blair gets sent off???? Can someone explain to me what he got sent off for?
The Stewart brothers should be the only ones sent off.

Blair won't get suspended. KS is right - the Stewarts should have both been marched. Brett should get charged - his efforts in charging in to throw a haymaker were very ordinary looking.

Unless the Tiges are playing on a Friday night I let the trouble and strife have the run of the TV but while listeneing to 2GB's call of the incident I sort of sensed that there was going to be a repeat of the Kevin Tamati V Greg Dowling sideline stoush at Lang Park 26 years ago.
While I haven't seen the vision I'm a little disturbed that our 'Marquee' player in 2012 may be missing for a few weeks at the start of the season, where was Peter Peters and the other high profile Manly officials when Stewart was binned to prevent what is certainly a blow to RL's credibility.
If we haven't given the GayFL enough ammunition surely this will be a loaded 'Cannon'!.

Blair got sent because the refs aren't allowed to make the game uneven. Same as the way they normally even up the penalty counts. Did look like he got in a good uppercut on someone in the original 'fracas' though so at least he got something out of it.
brett stewart should have a very long stint on the sidelines but manly will play the 'the nrl always picks on him' card and he'll get a tap on the wrist.
With Blair off it will be very interesting to see the difference missing his defence makes in the middle of the ruck for Melbourne. They already look a lot looser (but that may just be one less in the line)

All four that ran in on the one on one brawl should be cited for bringing the game into disrepute

that was a great fight, can't remember the last time players decided to have a go at each other whilst coming off the field

I wish Adam Blair had knocked Glenn Stewart out. Brett Stewart should have been at least sin binned for running into the second fight and throwing more girl punches.
Yeah I enjoyed it as well Tigerdave….you could see the second blue festering when the refs were talking to them.
Remember Stewart got involved because of Blairs dog effort in the original fight.

I agree that the manly chasers in the second fight should have been sinbinned especially brett stewart and no. 13 who got some good ones into Blair on the deck.
Anyway good game so far, plenty of feeling and 2 decent stoushes...looking forward to the second 40....

In the first fight he went and grabbed a storm player who was standing in the background not involved and layed into him. This Storm player wanted nothing to do with the fight so tried to brush him off and walk away but Foran kept pulling him back and throwing more punches.
Then in the second fight when all the manly players ran in he was one of the first there and went straight for the king hit around Blairs neck.
Complete and utter scumbag.

On a sunday morning on 2ky/skysports radio Peter Peters a high ranking Manly official hosts a little listened to radio show from 8.00 to 10.00am, I would suggest that our fans really give it to this half wit!.
