Hi fellow Wests tigers supporters,

I haven't made a post for at least a year I think, and didn't read anything either, but I have to say reading through a few threads today I was pleasantly surprised.
It was was great to see we all have different opinions and we can discuss it without too much angst. That's healthy.
I noticed the greats are still here, too many too mention but willow you are a breath of fresh air and supercoach you are my fav. Tigsta keep them coming, I disagree with most your posts but that's great. You make the points, and that's good.

Anyway, like the saying goes, opinions are like bums, we all have one, so I going to say this year will be a good one, top 4.

I'm hoping the forwards will do a great job and the halves can weave their magic.

Get on here and post more often Icon, hopefully we're in for a cracker of a season and return to form for the Wests Tigers

Welcome back. Love the top 4 thinking. I think we are looking better than many may think, but the top eight will be hotly contested IMO. Teams like the raiders and roosters will be pushing for top 4 spots I think along with usual Melbourne, dogs and manly. Cowboys are a shoe in for top eight. We will need to gel under potter from the get go. Heres to the banter!

Top 4 is looking like a possiblity for sure, if the forwards step up/don't get injured. Just as long as we have woods/galloway with blair putting in a good performance, in more than 80% of games we should be set for '13.

Plus, there's good depth in the 1,6,7,9 positions which will build a strong spine. 1 is a bit iffy, but i really didn't hate moltzen's performances THAT much; they were not good don't get me wrong. But he gets far too much hate for his performances there on this forum imo. If potter can help him along just a touch he will be able to keep the position warm once tedesco comes along. Benji should do well in '13, had a little rant on another thread the other day about that; you can look at that if you want.

All in all, strong forwards = top 8 guarunteed, strong forwards + spine = top 4/shot at the big one!

Watching round 4 tigers vs raiders replay right now, mostly to see how miller coped at 1st grade but also having a looksie at moltzen. Can't remember now if this is a one off but he's been playing a goood game, just made a try saving one on one tackle, good under the high ball. My opinion of him has probably worsened after hearing so much crap about him on forums and the like in the last few months. Also, trying to ignore beau ryan; such a bad sell.

Miller is playing alright, given that it's a year later and hes got way more experience he could really be the adam reynolds of 2013\. and his defence….wow. puts most of the back line TO SHAME! one on ones, try saving, whatever. i've seen no missed tackles, just one where the raider bounced off him and tried to go into the line somewhere else.

Welcome back mate, you picked a good year to have a break,2012 was a shocker. The way we played we deserved the spoon.

Anyway 2013, gee I don't know what to think, on paper Iam a little worried, but on the other hand we have a new coach and we have a heap of young kids jumping for a crack at the Nrl. Also most of the regulars have had their fIrst decent preseason in yolks and of course Potter seems to think you play people in their correct positions,a novel approach !!!!!!

Anyway sit back and enjoy the ride, they are still the best show in town

do u really no anything about football or are u living in lal la land , this the worst pack we have had in years. but then the tooth fairy may help us with ur help????

it's not the worst pack, it's not AMAZING but if woods and galloway go the season uninjured they can more than hold their own at props. hooker is ROBBIE FARAH. and in the back row we have adam blair who was one of the best back rowers in the world in 2011, so if he steps up and plays well he could do really well. Lots of positive feedback about him from potter. Then we have matt bell, groat, BMM and maybe sironen who could all be good IMPACT players. Add in gavet and buchanan (best prop from the NYC last year) and that's not a horrible forward pack.

Hello Icon,
I missed you so, so much,
I am so happy you have returned.

Seriously though…does this really deserve its own thread?
