I looked at this this morning and I thought they looked like dirt.

Teddy looked good, but it looked like players were just going through the motions.

Now we don't know what they were told to do but u would expect they would pick out the best footage. If that's the best then bloody hell.

Now I'm one of the guys who have been positive all so far about 2015, but that video did nothing for me.

yeh less field sessions more video work apparently…I too thought they couldve chosen better footage...

It's November…...

Yeah that got me wondering too…..video work in November???

Maybe focusing on individual players and giving them food for thought over the off-season ? Other than that i have no idea…

Quite clearly you can please everyone… I don't get it the club is criticized for not releasing info and then criticized for releasing a training video...

It's a training video in November ffs!!!

I wasn't being critical, just trying to make sense of it

I remember in high school i was in a footy team. We had a few training sessions before the season started, and i remember thinking ''damn, i don't think anyone can beat us''. Turns out everyone did, i don't think we won a game all year. I guess what i'm trying to say is, its not hard to look like world beaters on the training paddock. People forget there are 15 other clubs doing the same thing, looking just as impressive.

Ah the joys of junior RL. I remember playing for Grafton and getting hammered by Yamba 80-4\. At least the one try was a length of the field try set up by an offload from yours truly. We sucked, I quit, the team got a few better players and the same team ended up the best team in the comp a few years later and a few grades up.

Take a look at all the highlights and action from the week that was as the boys pushed themselves through a tough week of pre-season training.

Watch the video above to catch all the action and highlights.

Hmm…Lawrence looks leaner...

And now Lawrence is photoshopping :unamused:

Could it be that all the video work this early,is to see last years games where they went wrong and JT is trying the old SHOCK routine so it doesn't happen next season…
Or he could be trying to embarrass them into a new attitude of professionalism....
Which ever way it goes I hope 2015 is much more enjoyable for the fans and players,we seem to be getting in the right groove just before the Xmas break.....

Video is work is important , it helps players recognize what they are doing right or wrong in certain situations or role plays

It won't help them with attitude , putting your body on the line , getting downright dirty and trying to win every situation you are involved in

We saw that occasionally in 2014 but it went out the window when the chips are down

My Dad made a comment to me many years ago about myself as a footballer

He said the thing he respected in me more than anything else that I always played my best footy in losing football teams

I hope Taylor can say that to many of our players in 2015

You were one the the greats Happy.

No I wasn't Simon I wasn't trying to say that at all but that one was one ticket I wore with pride and the old man wasn't one for giving too many pats on the back

And I bet a lot of other NRL players wish they could be remembered that way

It tough.

I still don't get video in Nov it's usually to study upcoming oppositions…still JTS call so hope it's all beneficial

I bet you saw him grow two feet and swell with pride when you told him that Ink

And as you say it is strange to be watching video in November

As we have seen in many previous seasons the way and style of footy can change in a heart beat

I am hoping he is using it to work with technique mainly at this stage , but then some people struggle to learn things by watching it and need to learn by actions

JT biggest struggle will be learning his players motivations and what work's with the entire squad either way

If they believe in JT they will follow him to the ends of the earth without fear , if not he will paddling that worn out barb wire canoe up that same old creek without a paddle

Good to see Teddy moving freely. It's early days though for pre-season, they'll ramp it up week by week and I'm sure everyone will be fitter and stronger by February.
