A lot of people lament our recruiting decisions. Some I can see making a lot of sense at the time but never working out.
One, though I will never get. You had Canterbury cash strapped and us having 700k in the bank. We went Mbye over both Morris twins. :grimacing: :astonished: just Owww

One of our biggest problems has been Defense. We read it wrong and we just get outmuscled.
Our focus has been more with attack.

Would Josh Morris make a good defensive coach?

We should target whoever the Storms defensive coach is, we should also target their attacking coach, head coach and anyone else that wants to come.

Where did Michael McGuire come from again?

(he played along side Bellamy and was assistant coach at the storm. Along with Kevin Walters and Stephen Kearney
The one we really missed out on is Jason Ryles. The roosters got him as an assistant probably to replace Craig Fitzgibbon. I suspect loosing Craig will be a big change for them. )

Do you mean John Morris?

No I mean Josh Morris to coach on Defense.
Read the article and I think it is right. It basically says Josh Morris was like Steve Matai a damn gutsy center who could defend.
John Morris however has a history with our club and has been rejected by the Sharks. Unsure if he feels any connection for here. With the Sharks I remember reading about Jayson Bakula and apparently he would up the physical training in the Gym pushing Luke Lewis and Chris Heighington to new levels.
Jayson B would be a consideration as Gym coach. Unsure on John Morris.
