Yesterday night i saw a story on how Hodgo is back in oz training with the roosters & how he aspires to be a first grade coach one day.
I might be looking way to much into it but seeing him in roosters jersey hurt a bit.Why isn't he training with us? & why hasn't Sheens taken him under his wing to teach him a few things about coaching?
I don't know the circumstances but i just find it strange that he's not with us & he's training with the bloody roosters of all teams.

That sounds strange that hes training with the Roosters, cause on Monday I saw him at Tigers headquarters at concord oval, I think just for a vist.

As much as I love Hodgo I can't see him being a first grade coach. From the outside he appears much like Freddy, one of the boys, I can't see him tearing strips off someone when they really stuff up. Compare Hodgo's personality to someone like Craig Bellamy. That said, I could be wrong.

You're kidding!! The little champion once threatened to glass me!!

Smith would want to come up with an awefully good apology…the way he treated him at Paramatta....

Hodgo a Rorter...blasphemy.....Believe it when I See it......

Must be the Noyce link…

Also played under Coach Brian Smith for a few seasons..

Smith was interviewed last night on radio, yes, he IS the link.
He wanted Hodgo to give Todd Carney a few tips on FB play, as hes happy with Pearce & Anasta in the 1/2s, he also said Hodgo has been doing the same stuff with Wests - helping out at training

He's networking, smart dude.

is there still enough cash left to buy out his english contract and bring him back? or have we wasted it on lotta tequila?

On the contrary. Hodgo had an aura of respect about him from not only his team mates, but also the coaching staff. I saw this off the field many times in official, social and commercial situations. He is the ultimate professional, with plenty of courage, and definitely has some…....killer in him.

The Smith connection is what has seen him at the roosters. He will go into an assistants role in retirement, and hopefully kick on from there.

i think its a wonderful thing for rugby league ….i have met brett on numerous occasions in and outside of football and he is a wonderful guy who can only give to our great game .....
some people need to take off their wests tigers glasses on certain issues....my son got hit by a car on friday morning and landed in the ICU at randwick childrens hospital ...the roosters team were all there in the afternoon supporting the sick children and their famillies, and are a great bunch of guys ...brett can learn and eventually bring his skills to the mighty wests tigers.....

Even the most patient, and likeable people can be provoked to the point where they snap

Hodgo probably got called Moe too many times. It doesn't matter anyway because Hodgo would have only been joking anyway.

I hope your son is OK.
