Hooker

Next time Farah is out can we please pick an actual hooker?
Halatau wasn't up to being the main option and when Brooks went there we looked like even more of a mess.

Please just give Cherrington a go next time.

hahahahahahah you funny. When has a Tigers team EVER chosen players into their real positions. Good post mate, needed laugh after that turd of a game.

He's not ready yet unfortunately

People in fairly land thought our attack would be better without Farah.

Im laughing at them again.

I dont know if you will understand this, though i rate Farah massively, I am a huge fan of players like himself and Fulton, Jackson from the Dogs is another of my favourite players in the comp. Those high workrate team players are my style of guys.

That said, as highly as I rate Robbie as a player, I dont rate him as a DH. I dont think we missed his service at all, well except the Brooks experiment phase which while displeasing to see wanst actually that bad a period for us. We did however miss the tandem act of plugging the ruck he plays with Sauce, and we missed it alot.

You wont agree because you are a fanboy, and laughing is your own perogative, but Robbies service is poor. Its slow. We did however miss other aspects of his game.

Farah's dummy half play makes his forwards look better than they are. The biggest problem this year is Farah's lack of involvement drifting out of dummy half engaging the markers. He is being instructed to trust the halves but they are not ready yet.

As for his replacement its a specialist position, Luani failed to grab it give Cherrington a crack.

I agree to an extent… Robbie would do better moving forwards to distribute, it helps slow fast defensive lines. DH's have a huge roll... distribution is a big part, though being aggressive in controlling line speed via using halves or engaging the line is arguably more important. I feel he has let the latter aspect lapse this year, while on the flip side being more judicious injecting himself. He is out of balance at present.

Disagree…nt ready for week to week sure but the odd game when Farah is away i think he is...

Dene not getting to dummy half when we were deep on the attack cost us.....Chrrington would provide some creativity and his service from DH is good..

100% right. And even if he wasn't ready he is still our best option as a backup.

He might not be willow but he seriously couldn't be any worse then the rubbish we saw there tonight.

Halatau again, tries hard but he has never been a hooker. He made a few good runs from dummyhalf in 2005 and since then for some reason coaches have played him there.

He has a shocking passing game and no kicking game. I'd rather Luani there and that's saying something.

I know you think we missed him as a player but if you think we didn't miss him at dummy half did you see the game tonight?
Halatau useless and Brooks out of position and wasted.

To be honest CK, there was less than half a dozen times tonight I missed Robbies ruck IQ, and about a dozen times I want happy with Denes gas tank thus ability to make it to the PTB, though I will give Dene the better service marks. I know that doesnt even out and , but its a basic part of the game I feel could re-elevate Farah to the Luke level (i think he is the games top hooker). Smith, the ex-benchmark, always gave props to Cronk for direction, making his choices robotic and fluent in turn. Robbie still takes too much of the evaluation on board which I feel detracts from his speed.
