Hopefully a future prospect

Welcome TigerBrent94, what's the pathway like from that comp to Wests Tigers. Do the better players generally end up with us or are they poached by others. And do most Juniors aspire to play for Wests Tigers or other teams. Cheers mate

The Camden Group 6 pathway is to try out for Wests HMatts at age 15\. Nothing much happens before that.
If you get selected in the team and are in the top 5 or 6 players Warren will make you an offer you can't refuse.

Players that don't get selected for the Harold Matts team will then try out for Parramatta Canterbury Roosters or St. George. These clubs are usually scouting the Group 6 area in the hope of picking someone up well before Wests HM trails like Jack Stockwell (St. George) and Dean Britt (Bulldogs).
Most Group 6 kids want to play for Wests Magpies and then Wests Tigers and so do the people that have to take them to training.

James Tedesco, Neil Begovich and Joel Wisby all from Camden followed this path…Wests Magpies Under16's Wests Magpies Under 18's Wests Tigers Under 20"s.
Mark McCormack also from Camden made the HMatts team this year then the U16s NSW Origin team so I presume he is now locked up till the age of 20 and will follow the same path and I have no doubt all the way to NRL.

Thanks B&W I'm happy to hear that we seem to have the right systems in place to promote juniors. Cheers

I saw jack doonen play against souths at erskinville, Souths pumped them but this fella had a real crack and looked like a goer

Good to see he made the side on the bench for Round 1, I wish him all the best and all us boys from the Camden Rams will be hoping he can stay in the side and have a good year!
