How Bad is Gallen's Tribute Jersey.......

He's one tough Dude @Cultured_Bogan in showing Loyalty...[that's spelt...
L O Y A L T Y just in case we have all forgotten the word, as we don't see it much these days]... to his club :shark: :fa-smile-o:

G'day @Demps: In his earlier years he 'was' a grub. But to his credit, he cleaned up his act and became the type of player Wests Tigers needed, as he had the determination, muscle and just the right amount of agro that would have inspired our plodders :fa-smile-o:

He's a germ. Drug cheat, refuses to acknowledge it despite pleading guilty to it to take a mickey mouse ban when their season was already gone.

The NRL were totally spineless in regard to their approach on the Cronulla doping. A whole bunch of their players would have been unavailable for their premiership season, in addition to the cap rorting either side of that season.

Some of what the grub gallen has done over the years

In 2003, he was sent off for a head-high tackle on Newcastle’s Sean Rudder. The following year he was suspended for two weeks after the judiciary found him guilty of instigating a fight with Wests Tigers’ John Skandalis.

In Game 3 of the 2007 State of Origin series, he hit Tonie Carroll high in a tackle and then proceeded to start a brawl, commenting afterwards that the fight was “good for the game”.

That same season he head-butted Roosters player Shane Shackleton, was reported for a head high tackle on Ben Creagh, and he got into a fight with his teammate Reece Williams.

The following season, Gallen really stepped it up a notch. He was suspended for trying to rip the stitches out of Anthony Laffranchi’s head wound, was accused of grabbing Gold Coast player Josh Graham’s testicles, and he slapped the head of Josh Cordoba while the Eels prop was lying unconscious on the ground.

In 2009, he racially abused Mickey Paea and was also issued a with a criminal infringement notice for urinating in public, near the head of a drunken friend.

In 2013, he was vilified for his thumping of Nate Myles in Origin 1, an action that led to punching being banned in the NRL.

And, of course, in 2014 the Peptides scandal engulfed and nearly destroyed his beloved club.

I applauded his thumping of Nyles!

I do have no problem with that.....but I can't handle his "role model" promotion within the nrl....he's such a grub

What's gets me most about Gallen is he's such a narc. He's always first on hand to put the boot in to another player who dares to ask for more money or otherwise step outside the line of his imaginary code. Absolutely guaranteed that he'll become the next generation of Tommy Raudonikis or George Piggins: slow news day and need to drum up a story about how players today ought to be more grateful? Pop down the Shire, turn a tape on and get Gallen outside a few schooeys.

Heard he’s going to fight Barry Hall. I hope he does. Hall will cave his head in.

Everyone crapping on about how Gal will come into it fitter than Hall. It won't mean a thing, as he'll be fighting someone who's not a jobber.
