How big a game this is

If we win this game, it will be a morale boosting victory. Considering our injury toll, it will be massive effort to beat the Roosters on their own turf. But I think it's well within our reach, we still have game breakers like Benji, Farah, Moltzen and Ayshford who, if they step up, will win us the game.

It's positive to see that those game breakers have stepped up at various stages throughout the first 3 rounds and be prominent in our two wins.

The Roosters game breakers like Carney, Pearce, Minichiello etc. haven't stepped up for them thus far this year, but we know what we are capable of.

We can't allow those guys to control the game or else we will lose.

Defensive application and patience will be the keys to the win as they are most weeks.

Absolutely. So far this season the Tigers forward pack, despite being injury riddled has gotten on top of the Bulldogs, Warriors and Raiders packs. The Roosters boast some big units also and if the Tigers can halt them early and keep the ruck tight, they've still got enough talent out wide to put points on the chooks and rack up a win. Benji and Farah are both playing well, as is Ayshford and Utai out wide. Moltzen has his chance and Brown should be keen as mustard as well to play well.

The team is being tested depth-wise, but the mental application this season also looks to be strong so far which is exactly what the Tigers will need to help get them over the line during this tough period.

Fairly big . Won't be end of world if we lose in the circumstances (injuries) but think we can still grab the points with great defence and the attack of the first half especially the kicking game . Repeats sets of six against Roosters will be important

Can't believe Sheens' decision to put Moltzen in the centres. Somebody should have reminded him that we are yet to LOSE a game with Moltzen at half-back.

I say this game has a fair bit more. Both sides are being talked up as possible grand final winners. Last year we were 0 from 4 against them. We need to turn this around. Anyway who says this doesn't matter, doesn't have a clue. Momentum during the season and against certain teams carries on.

Yes but Benji is in such sublime form with his passing game at the moment anyone playing outside him is a better than average chance of being put into a hole or scoring a try. Moltzen should be a threat in attack out wide with the way Benji is setting up plays at the moment. And there's alway the option of shifting him to halfback during the game given Daniela is on the bench. It's one of Sheens smarter bench selections this week.

None of the young blokes who have played in the past few weeks have taken a backward step. They wont this week either. With Farah and Marshall still there we have a huge chance of taking this one.

If our pack dominates the roosters as they did against the raiders and if the WTs dominate possession early in the same way then the roosters will find the going tough, particularly their star backs. Go sauce lead the charge again!

I reckon Ayshford will have a mind blowing game.
As for the roosters, they're in a slump… after seeing their first few efforts this year, I don't think they'll be in the 8.
Sorry guys.

Attitude is key…they have the wood over us recently and we are the walking wounded.

Winning isnt key for me, the way we play is.

The chooks have one of the better aerial kicking games in the comp and thats has been our downfall on more than one occasion in our recent history. Anasta and Junior Junior both have the ability to kick a wicked bomb. I also see them a team that can graft a win even when they are playing poorly. Massive test for us, a win will have other teams just wondering how good we are going to get at the back end of the season and loss will put doubt within the club at our ability to get through our injury crisis

Hopefully this year when Anasta puts up a bomb which our player drops backwards and get flattened as he turns to get it will get PENALIZED like it should of last year

Yep. When the Bulldogs aimed up in defence they stopped the Roosters in their tracks - and they had to do out wide as well as in the ruck which is a concern now that Lawrence and Lote are out.

But if we can get away with the win it will be a huge confidence booster which is always good for the Tigers…
