How cultural change brought Wests Tigers back from the brink

Pascoe seems to be the bloke driving our club and I guess that what he is paid to do, but we have had some shockers over the years getting paid big dollars and delivering nothing. He uses a lot of buzz words and you can tell he has been to business school in the states, but the proof is in the pudding he to me he seems like a real winner. Hope he sticks around for a few more years before looking for another challenge

For the first time in 16 years we have the whole club working together as a whole to make this club succesful again, weather we win lose or draw today we are all moving in the right direction together which is finally exciting me again about this club!!

In saying that, we better win today :wink: cmon boys !!

There's a lot of optimism around the club after a few years of darkness.
Hopefully the club take full advantage of having a great, young, marketable team at their disposal. So good so far.

Well said, we've got some solid foundations to build on.
 
Lets see….we beat the Rabbits twice this year, The Panthers, The Cowboys, The Bronco's.....which is not a bad result compared to previous years. We are ahead of The Roosters, Rabbits, Manly and other former heavyweights on the Points Table.

We are the only team to lose to the Knights this year though....but the early part of the year was really our disaster period.....much has changed since then....especially the maturity of the playing group.

Success comes from doing many things well....in the case of an NRL Club, having a solid Admin/Management, coaching staff, playing group & a little luck with injuries all rolled into one is the reason why we are not 15th this year but potentially 8th & worst 10th.

Credit should go to all.....whatever happens today.....we still have improved from last year.....thats a big plus and next year we raise the bar again.

You have to give credit where credit is due.

Good luck to Robbie F....hope you kill it at your next club. Go the WT !!!!

And we should quanlify success, our year is a success given it is better than last year and considering the hurdles we've faced and where we found ourselves today! The hurdles were in part JT's doing.

The results in a pure football perspective the year is not a success we are outside the 8 and have to beat a top 4 team to make it (relying on other results - which thankfully went our way). We lose and warriors win we could end up in 10\. That's not success.

Yes, as per the numerous posts, JT is not the reason for any success or improvement in the club. He is solely responsible for losses, failures and poor selection strategies
 
Well said Adam

Can I just add that we aren't successful yet. If we are comparing it to 2015, yes it is- but 2015 was a massive massive failure keeping in mind how lucky we were with injuries.

I see that we are going in the right direction and that the culture at the club is changing. But can I say a major part of that has to go to our marketing and social media team? The game day exerperience I feel has changed somewhat, our Facebook page and the website has innovate and new material which is different to any other club. WT have always been ahead in this department and finally numbers show it.

Anyway, let's all put our differences away and cheer the one club, cheer for JT and his team and farewell two of the biggest legends in our club's short history.

Marina is a class act.
Pascoe should have backed our coach way back at start of season instead of promising ?Farah a future with the club. IMO this gave Robbie more encouragement to 'dig in' and this helped drag the saga on till now.
The team is now playing for each other, the vibe is there for all to see, well done Taylor, you had the balls to do what needed to be done.
