No doubt. Benji helped build not only the Tigers, but also the NRL into a more marketable brand after the superleague era ratings slump. The Tigers run in '05 got the people watching league again.

But unfortunately his best is behind him and I am so grateful that the Blues threw us a lifeline. I think we should send the whole team out in blue socks next week to show support for the club that's saved our 2014 season. I have no issues with Benji parading around in an Aukland jumper, it's him wearing that Tigers number 6 shirt on game day that's concerning me.

Benji could just never mature as a footballer like Lockyer and Fittler could, he was only ever going to have the skills he had as a kid, and when you get older those skills are not that good anymore, he couldn't do it. its sad

do we own Benji?? we kept him after 06 and 07 shoulder injuries and 04, we also stuck with him after 08 early knee injury. we stayed loyal. and for 10 years Benji only took us to 3 semi final series. 3 of those years he was injured most of the year.

Benji looked to still be able to run a bit early in the year but I can't help thinking he should have been out for a lot longer with that ligament tear in his foot. The guy has a miraculous fortnight turnaround off an injury in his foot that can take months to heal, then surprise surprise stops making any line breaks or yards. I think we sent him back out hobbled, and he's not the only one. Andrew Leeds can't get lost quick enough for me.

Thank you Board for not offering him the 5 year deal he was looking for.

Tigers will be much stronger next year as a united team. Potter has a lot of work to do but he has signed some decent players for next year and with the BENJI BAGGAGE gone we will be more competitive.
