How many Tigers players are at current NRL standards

Just wondering how many players at the Tigers are currently playing at the average NRL standards in their position

Farah
Woods
Keefy
Tedesco
Fulton
Nofoaluma
and currently Blair

Pretty scary when you think about it

Maybe you would like to add a name or two or take a few off ??

I was watching the match on TV last week between Newcastle and Cronulla. Both teams were playing at classes above what Wests Tigers have been most of this season. Thankfully there will be changes to the team next year with new players, young players maturing and disgruntled players leaving.

Depends on a lot of things Happy. At the moment I'd put Farah, Keith, Woods and Fulton in there exclusively ATM. Young ones have proved they have the potential to be but still need to provide that level of quality for a full season. Still some defensive problems with Nofo and Simona which they need to sort out before I would put them ahead of seasoned first graders.
They're all on their way don't get me wrong but I don't want to jump the gun yet.
I suppose it depends on your criteria

So my standard would be (using this as an example ) if I was looking at hooker the hooker would have to make the Top 12 in the comp ,centre would be Top 24

Does that clear it up Anthism ??

You missed Timmy Simona ya fool

Attack wise most definitely , defence wise is a different matter ,in my opinion he just misses out

Have to disagree regarding his defence….He's being made to look much worse with a hackish centre inside of him in Lawrence.

Before say the Titans game defence on fringes wasn't too big a problem, it was more up the middle that was leaking points.

You're setting the bar for NRL standard pretty bloody high….

I mean the top teams wouldn't have all their player's at NRL standards by this definition...

How is finishing in the Top 12 out of 16 setting the standards "pretty bloody high "

I reckon I'm setting it pretty bloody low actually

It's a pretty odd question.

There isn't a player in our side that wouldn't find a spot at another club. Whether that is a good club or not though.

Do you mean, average NRL standard? That would be an easier question to answer.

Tedesco
Nofoaluma
Simona
Woods
Farah
Galloway
Blair
Fulton
Sue
Seumanufagai
Buchanan

Are all performing at average or above average NRL level in their positions in my opinion.

Who sets the current NRL standard?

As I said Ink in a single position ie Fullback ,Halfback ,Five Eight ,Hooker I would class in the average range Top 12

In a duel position Top 24

That's gives you something to work with if you wish

The point I'm making is that we might have 6 or 7

Souths or Roosters probably have 11-12

With our current signing in 2014 ,how many would crack that standard ??

Makes little sense to me….you bored again?

Youre looking at individuals in a team sport based on team performance

But ask this question back in 05 you probably get the same answer

Lawrence's defence is suffering because of those inside him

Question to ask is who would be in demand on the player market to the top sides would manly storm roosters bid for our players?
Farah and woods sirro nofo koro. Sue
Would suit those sides that's all really

The main difference being we were probably on the back of 6-7 wins in a row

So you ask me a question , I answer it and then you take a pot shot

At times you amaze me Ink

I reckon in a couple of years, 2015 or so we could break 10 without injuries.

Sirro
Farah
Woods
Moses or Brooks
Nofo
Simona
Koro
Teddy
Sue
Maybe Big T or Galloway.
