hmmm ink, you are older then me because I never thought about beer at that point. I was still a kid. But maybe we played against you in the dead ball line after the matches. We once played against a guy with a beer. So Ink did you ever own a brown safari suit?

Not many 16 yo's at ldcombe in the 70's in safari suits.

Desert boots, levis & a magpies jersey was the usual attire.

I feel a bit jealous about not ever going to Lidcombe Oval to watch the mighty Western Suburbs play. My first game I went to was Wests first game ever in Leumeah, which was against Parrmatta (which we won - I also have it on dvd :slight_smile🙂. I was only turning 7 that year. I remember it clearly though.
