How to win!

I watched the cowboys last night and JT plays as a 6 but touches the ball 3 times a set on average and mostly at 1st receiver.

Our halves regardless if it's Benji or someone else probably gets the ball at 1st receiver maybe once a set because Farah controls the play.

This annoys the crap out of me because it makes us one dimensional and nullifies Farahs brilliance because it's so obvious to defensive lines.

Before the next game I would slap Benji up the side of the head (warranted after this weeks performance) and tell him that his goal for the week is to touch the ball at 1st or 2nd receiver 3 times a set… And not to grubber kick it before the 4th tackle when we are in the oppositions 30.

I reckon if we did this we would improve out of sight...and we got nothin to lose.

And if it's not Benji than whoever the half back is has to do the same...

We need some halves that actually do something and seeing though Benjis meant to be our JT ( marquee superstar blah blah blah) and he got leading try assists last year he needs to take more control...

At the moment he is drifting like a hobo and needs to step up!

People see benji as the same star he was in 2005\. Apart from some magic in 2010 and 2011 he has not really maintained the brilliance unlike slater or thurston who pull it off every week

Comparing Marshall to Thurston is like comparing Moltzen to Slater

They are poles apart ,Marshall wouldn't be in the Top 50 players in the NRL anymore

I know theyre not similar but he's supposed to be our marquee playmaker besides Robbie and we need to make sure he gets more involved….

If he touches the ball 3 times a set and doesnt do any good than at least we will know he doesnt have it anymore and therefor get another playmaker...

At the moment he doesn't even get involved...

Look at the kiwis with Kieran foran calling the shots .. They looked better without Benji

It's time he steps up or steps out

i still do think marshall has potential, but he is too bloody selfish to see it.

just wants to go for the miracle pass and make everyone talk about him

his biggest downfall has been a lost of pace/accelaration.. he can hardly ever get to the outside of his opposite men these days… too much upper body muscle

The reason farah plays the way he does is because he's tried passing to benji without success

I agree with what's being said about benji, have thought it for a while now. BUT….. Farah , yes he tries hard ( to hard most if the time) is not doing the simple part of his job! GO FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!and with both our "marquee" players running sideways ,kicking on the second tackle ,throwing passes to the ground we are going to keep going the same way.. Down! Time for change . New blood needed sirro /hooker? Miller / brooks 6/7?

The one noticeable difference this year is we are not throwing the ball side to side. Maybe we should do that ?
Get it wide to Koro early instead of a stupid kick on tackle 3 to no one ?

It's not just Benji, it's Robbie as well…......they both need to settle down, take a deep breath and think rather than have brain explosions when we have the ball and when there's plenty of time at hand.

Just hope that Humpreys hasn't signed Marshall contract yet. Should wait until the end of the season, a bad season would definatley lower his asking price. He is like Lawrence, shadows of the players they used to be. It feels like a old team with a couple of young guys in due to ingjuries. Maybe we need the razzle dazzle we used to, not sure but am open to options.

definitely need to work on our drawing and passing to koro he has SPEED to burn. His strength isn't in kick chases really, more in demolishing players through size, speed and strength.
