Why does no one updating the website with the 2012 NRL players ? NYC players ? Coaches ? Something.

Mullaney is on the Parra website and ohh look his at Wests Tigers as well…maybe he will do a Moltzen and come back !

From memory (and past history) the Tigers website will not be updated with 2012 player profiles until February.

For a start final squad for 20's won't be known for a while yet. Usually have big numbers training and cull through the preseason. Final squad usually not known till trials have been played.

Then the NRL squad will all need updated photos. Can't have old photos on website lol

I think you are being a bit tough on the guys who look after the site BlackandWhite - it is only early November and pre-season training has barely begun.

Ideally however the club should try and have updated pics and bio's by early December imo.

If they update the site most of the player profile pics and information would be from this year given all the key players are touring (Ellis, Rhino, Galloway, Farah, Blair, Benji, Lawerance) + the Coach and won't even step foot around the club until next year anyway (those touring deserve a break at some stage).

I get why people want them updated but we also need to consider the players in this regard

Yeah I well and truly understand how the 20's final selection comes about.

If we use the 20's as an example players like Liam Ayoub and Joel Wisbey have left the club yet they are still listed.
And other players like Tedesco and Nufaluma have played 13 - 14 games for the club and are not listed.

Most people are aware of the NRL movements but it would be nice to have an update as to who is left in the 20's and NSW cup teams…....and Yes of course New photo's !

They should be posting signings as they happen regardless of whether they are NRL or NYC players as well as removing anyone who has gone.

If it's too hard to do in the Profile Page then why not have a signings page so the fans can at least know a little bit about who we are bringing to the club.

Thats clearly not what the OP suggests.
Yes its a base template, but I would imagine clubs have control over their own content

All the websites are done through a Sportal back-end with a centralised database. This way each club doesn't have to build player profiles for every player, update opposition team lists or do cross-advertising/links/etc. It's all done automatically. Cuzzo uploads the WT team list to their site, Parra uploads their team list to their site and all we see is both team lists appearing on both WT and Parra's website. Same goes for player profiles.

Oh and I believe that the WT office staff have been away on holidays, hence few updates.
