SCOTT Prince's manager has urged Hull FC to stay patient, insisting he will sign a three-year deal once terms over his Gold Coast exit are agreed.
Steve Robinson, who represents the 32-year-old Aussie scrum-half, is hoping to conclude a move to the Black and Whites by Monday.
Insisting there are no other offers on the table for Prince in the NRL, Robinson revealed his client has already started hunting for a home to rent in Hull.
And whilst admitting to being frustrated about the delay in agreeing Prince's pay-off from the Titans, Robinson has urged Hull to stay calm.
"We know Hull won't wait forever, but I would urge them to be patient until we can get a severance agreed with Gold Coast," Robinson told the Mail.
"He still has a year remaining on his deal there, but I can pretty much categorically say he won't be there next season.
"Now we have to make sure Scott comes away from the situation without losing out, and that is what we are hoping to agree and get signed off."
Robinson insists signing for Hull, where he would link up with former Wests Tigers team-mate Ben Galea, is what Prince's camp are working to.
And he says the player, who boasts 278 NRL appearances with North Queensland, Brisbane Wests and the Titans, is excited at the prospect.
"This will be Scott's final career move without a doubt, and a three-year deal in Super League is very attractive," he said.
"It is a great opportunity for Scott to test himself in Super League and for his family to move to England and experience life in Europe in the off season.
"I actually know York very well, it is a wonderful place, so I have been telling him that he'll love it over there.
"We have talked about the move and Scott has been looking on the Internet at properties to rent.
"He is certainly keen on the move. Hull would have known long ago if he wasn't keen, I can assure you of that."
Hull owner Adam Pearson this week revealed the club has now made its final offer to the player, with talks having dragged into their fourth week.
And Robinson hopes those terms will be acceptable to both parties when talks start again today with FC's director of rugby Shaun McRae.
"This has taken much longer than we wanted, but often, due to holidays on both sides of the world, the right people haven't been around to sort things out," Robinson added.
"Scott's not pricing himself out of this by any means, the guys in the UK are not shy in telling you if that is the case.
"There have been some delays, and it is difficult because we are talking to Shaun through a third party.
"I haven't seen the final offer which is being talked about, but once we have something written in front of us, and we can all sit and talk it through, I am confident we will get it done."
