Ive been reading this forum for quite a while now and i just cant understand how so many users on this forum rate Tom Humble SO MUCH!!!!! He is in so many peoples future tigers 11 etc that i think surely its just family and friends of his posting it.

I've tried to find some good traits but just cant see anything that makes him anything over average young player at best.

He doesn't make anything happen and makes far to many mistakes for first grade.

Send him to nsw cup to let him grow into a first grader, which he is not, and bring up another utility which can do the job.

Humble is a guy who absolutely dominated at every level from a young age. Parra signed him out of Queensland Cup a season after he absolutely tore that comp to shreds and then he had a drug ban for a year and Parra never gave him a real shot. Similarly he hasn't got a spot at the Tigers either aside from Johnny Morrisesque utility so he really hasn't had much of a chance to shine. Last week was weird because I thought he was doing really well out of dummy half but got hooked really early and Iosefa never looked back.

Humbles a promising young player. The fact he has played solidly in so many positions across our team this year should highlight this.

If just simple passing the ball from dummy half is playing well, i dont think we agree
As for the drug ban, i didnt realise he was using steroids, i cant belive we signed him in the first place, once a cheater always a cheater there is no way i could support him.

Do a little fact checking before making stupid statements like that.

Get a clue mate, what he took was given to him by Wentworthville officials after a game in the belief that what he was taking was a suppliment. He wasn't to blame. Officials have admitted he knew nothing about it, and the officials in question were sacked. Its obvious you don't like the guy and thats fine, but don't make crap up to support your agenda

What a cracker of a first post you've come up :crazy

Nothing like a good player bashing thread to get your credibility up on here :deadhorse:

Agree Willow
Humble has been solid all year IMO :dead

I've never rated the bloke IMO he is barely a first grader. Timmy will wear the 14 next year so Humble better enjoy seconds… or head to to the Raiders.

Aii…
Not like he was punching lines with Wendell or anything.
JACK3D is a sports supplement.
Hardly consider it a "drug ban".

i rate him, he has some talent and you can never doubt his whole hearted performances.. he has been used the wrong way like many before him

his best spot imo would be fullback.

He played halfback when we won 30 - 0 with Farah gone to concussion early. He played a great hand in the side getting up to an early lead against Parra.

The situation normal with Sheens at the helm occured at that point. Humble took one wrong option with an offload and he copped it for the loss and was dropped where worse contributors remained.

It is an all too common cycle with the Wests Tigers under the Sheens stewardship

Humble is a 6, not a fullback, not a hooker or a winger.
Sheens and co trying to mould him into a utility.
Then again he is a better fullback than moltzen.

Humble had a few games at fullback in the rounds following Tedescos injury. He wasn't given much of a chance to stake his claim, but comparing his stints at halfback/hooker, I have to say I think he looked better in those roles then he did at fullback.

It seems a big jump to say he is a better fullback than Moltzen given he has only played there 4 times in his short career for Parra/Tigers.
