Humphreys hopes Gibbs will stay a Tiger

See this is what annoys me with clowns like humpty **POST EDITED BY MODS**

One minute he says:

"We've given permission to Bryce's manager to have a chat to a couple of clubs, **which was a request that came from him,"** Humphreys said.

Then goes on to say:

**"There are no strong moves from him (Gibbs).**

I wonder what happens when other clubs wanna talk to benji & farah

Innsaneink, you sometimes confuse me, i think Humphreys is acting like what a CEO should act like.

Maybe i'm missing something and i would like to understand what is annoying you off about this. **POST EDITED BY MODS**

I'm only saying because i think he's an good operator, but what the hell do i know, maybe i'm wrong but i think he's the the guys that can make us a great club, i've seen nothing but growth.

I have no connections to the club so might be right off, but that's just my view.
 
Imo theyre two conflicting statements, maybe I'm reading it wrong.

What exactly does ''There are no strong moves from him (Gibbs).'' mean?
 
So basically what he is saying is 'if we sign Blair you and your mate Fulton are gone" and if we don't sign Blair " Don't worry ,welcome back to the fold we only wanted the best for you guys" Not the way to create team harmony I would of thought . Wonder what Liam and Bryce think about it all . I know what I would be telling Humphreys if I was one of them . And it would not be "Thanks Steve"
 
It's a confusing article perhaps it's the writer who has created the confusion by writing conflicting comments in the one article. Who knows what the real situation is? not me after reading that story maybe the emphasis should be on the word 'story'.
 
I dont think confusing at all, it's basically saying, someone has approached gibbs, he told the club, which the club then said he was more than aloud to look at his options, but there has been no real strong movement on gibbs part to leave the club, he's just looking at his options.
But the club has stated they can fullfil gibbs contract, but they will not re-sign fulton if the tigers do get blair.

Your man Noyce has proven what an unprofessional puppet he is since joining the Roosters - yet you bag a bloke who has business credentials & credibility that most clubs are lacking in the front office!!

Errr…its about Bryce gibbs and Humpries, to my way of seeing it - confusing statements.

"The Pom" clarified it.....however I dont think though I will ever get used to other clubs talking to players with 4 year deals under their belts

There was no mention of fulton or the clubs intentions in the article.
 
Bryce's brother Troy says that Bryce is off to the Sharks. Can't get a much more reliable source than that.
 
Even though Steve Noyce, quite rightly, had some support because he was a local person, his credentials pale in comparison with Stephen Humphries. From outside the Club, he seems to have brought stability, common sense and good financial nouse into the business of the Club. Hopefully, he is here for the long term.
 
I hope Bryce stays. He really improved last year and it would suck to lose him now. His 26 and will be coming into his best years. I wouldn't take Blair in front of him.
 
dont go bryce! i obviously want to get blair but i feel that we've put too much time and effort into gibbs to have him leave when his best yrs r still ahead
