He has gone from a $1 offer, to 750K, to accpeting 500K in Auckland.

He has stuffed it up i reckon.

He wishes he was getting 500k to sign with Auckland ,heard it was 300k maximum and then I wonder if that is in A$ or NZ$

Benji is going to learn the hard way ,that you just don't get what you want because your Benji Marshall

He is playing a new game probably in a new position and won't have a heap of mates who will cry when things go bad , more than likely his playing companions will secretly want him to crash on his arse

I'm not referring to his money situation and what he has signed for, (he is dumb) for knocking us back for what we offered , but we are the winners in all this .

What are you on about ??? As if it's not a Factor , he is having a cry baby because he was promised 1 million per season by previous Management and didn't get it .
In the end he is also over the Circus that has been going on the last few with the players and coaching issues .
But all this was a money factor for Benji to begin with make no mistake about that.

well with footy, you ALSO work because you love the game, enjoy it and want to get better and not be derided by all the critics, as well as the money. And those are the reasons i think that benji has left the tigers. If he hated the club or management he'd play against us for the warriors or eels or whatever.

Spot on Happy, not way he is on $500k for the Blues, there is just not that sort on money in super rugby.

He is not being topped up by NZRU

Apparently he is going to play a bit of rugby in Japan to top up.
