Not a bad feeling about us, about Newcastle that will finally show up, after a bye at home been giving crap by their fans and the Johns brothers due for a win, Uate fired up after been dropped.

Hell look at the roosters flogged us and they got killed yesterday, teams have a habbit of always turning up against us, I hope I am wrong and they are rubbish like usual.

Take the $2.70 on offer for Newcastle.

I had a bad feeling before the Roosters game, not for tonight. You can't really line up the form from last week - the team's captain had to pull out on game day because his mother passed away and half the team were visibly affected by it.

Uate is a confidence player - I think he's more likely to drop his bundle than spark up.

Teams generally go worse after a bye than improve. Seems to be the way things work in the NRL era anyway.

Newcastle have been cod ordinary all year - if we play back up to standard we should roll them.

Hopeful, rarely confident.

That is pretty much how I feel most of the time

It;'s a funny thing the Bye, people make up the exuse if they lose its beause of the Bye like when the storm lost didn't seem to effect Manly last year, Same with Monday Night footy they were crapping on about how the Storm looked tired from the game once against didn't seem to effect manly.

this Monday Night shor turnaround/ long turn around crap exuse that teams use drive me crazy.

As I said I am not worried about us it's that I am worried that Newcastle will finally show up tonight and are due to, it always happen to us! I hope they are rubbish as they were against the raiders then we should win by 20

Just a 1 point win tonight will do me.

Atleast then we have the bye next week & have time to recover, refocus on the rest of the season and hopefully close to a full strength team against the bulldogs which shapes up to be an exciting game.

It's an interesting point he brings up though.

Dragons, Raiders, Roosters and Eels (albeit for 15 mintutes) have had their best games against us this year. It's an odd phenomenon. Even if the Knights play well, we are a bogey team for them. They last beat us in 2007, when we deadset choked in the last 10 minutes to miss out on the top 8.

We should be OK, but I do feel weird about tonight.

I've got the same concern, but I'm not sure how rational I'm being. While I'm worried that the Knights will turn things around, it'd be have to be a HUGE turnaround given the way they've been playing. And of course, they're still missing their best player, Kurt Gidley.

Newcastle will play a lot better tonight. Make no mistake it will be tough up there. Like someone else said ill take a 1 point win.

I don't. I think the Knights have called it quits for the year already. As long as we don't let them get a lead at the beginning we'll slowly start to run away with it and end up winning by 30\. There are too many players who will be trying to put in huge individual performance for them to carry out any game plan. And the Tigers are the sort of team that you must have a game plan to beat.

I didn't feel confident before the Roosters match, but I'm quietly confident about tonight. I think we'll see a much more committed focus in attack and defence in comparison to last week when all the players minds turned to Farah and his family.

We will put 50 on the Knights tonight.

Blair first try.
Marshall double.
Lawrence double.
Tuqiri try.
Ryan try.
Utai try.
Farah last try.

Marshall 7 from 9 goals.

This is all from my crystal ball.

I think the boys will work hard in this one, although I don't want to see a run-over from us, cause I have a feeling we will let the knights in like we did with the eels. Just a humble win tonight would be nice

Its still not registering with you that they weren't in any condition to play last Sunday is it Golden :brick:

The Tigers will win by 20 + …Robbie will have a Man of the Match performance , leading the way for all the team to lift for him & put in our most complete 80 minute performance this year

Condition looked pretty good scoring 3 trys in 6 mins also scoring the first try in the first 4 mins seemed like they were in the game???

I guess they were only in the right condidtion for 6 mins of the 80?? As I said last week if they came back and won 40 to 36 you would be crapping on that the reason they came back was because it was in their hearts for RObbies mother. hindsight hindsight hindsight.

But they didn't come back did they Golden? It seems as though you and Smithy are the only two people on the planet who took that game as if there weren't any external issues going on. I know its hard for you, being the biggest doom and gloomer on this forum, but for once why don't you give em a break ffs. Last week was a write-off and it didn't reflect anything on their season

I think most people agree the team was distracted by off-field events on Sunday. That doesn't stop you from having good patches but it does effect your concentration. The 10-15 minutes of good football doesn't over-ride the 65-70 minutes they looked out of sorts.

Spot on GNR.

I thought it was remarkable that they managed to cross the stripe five times. For a team that was struggling to come to grips with awful news they still managed to play enough footy to give the Chooks a scare in the last ten minutes. That game said more about Easts than it did about us, which was evidenced yesterday when that same team was decimated by a Manly side who had their mind on the game for eighty minutes!

Golden, I know you get your rocks off by being a pessimistic piece of work who loves to deathride this club, but I'm willing to bet you wouldn't be able to do your job to the best of your ability when someone close to them passes away. For once, cut them some slack.
