I have to ask - was Fifita not 100%

That's the only explanation I can find for him getting so little game time.

I was sitting in Bay 14 so had a good look at the bench. I kept waiting for him to come on. He'd get up, have a little run, stretch and then sit back down. I thought, ah, there saving him for the 2nd half when the Roosters forwards tire. Then, they'll give him 30, 20, 10… he gets all of about 7 minutes game time. I thought at 15-2, surely we would bring him on to rip into them.

I'm mystified and bemused. Did he have the flu? gastro? something? Any ideas?

Ridiculous decision, can't believe Murdoch got on before him.

I just don't get it - you have a guy with his impact and he plays 8 minutes. WTF?

There was a period early in the second half where we could have finished them off, he should have been brought on then…

I was in bay 12 Pratten park (nice avatar by the way) and kept my eye on Fifita as well thinking along similar lines to you, perhaps it was a punishment for something he did during the week, or maybe Sheens believed the rooster may target him, it is hard to work out. Fifita's body language looked very negative as well sitting on the bench, I don't think the same thing will happen next week.

Only thing I was disappointed with tonight was Fifita's game time.

I kept saying to those around me " you wait till he gets out there", must be something wrong.

Sheens Ran with a rotation of Gibbs Galloway Payten and it was working..

Dwyer Fulton Murdoch in the backrow….at 15 2 it was a good time to introduce Murdoch ...then with Daniela and Benji going down I think it threw the interchange a bit so much so we played the last 8min of normal time with 12 men...

I thought it was pretty negative. At 15-2 we get a penalty from the kick off, Sheens should've brought him on and looked for the killer blow.

I was expecting him to come on in the first half when we had them on the back foot, the last 15 minutes or so

I was wondering the same thing why was Fafita not on the field and a 19yr old being blooded in that game go figure but I stopped trying to figure selections out a way ago.

it was exactly the same error we have seen from sheens week in week out ….but some peoples love for sheens will never wane .......

I was also thinking along same lines. I thought that when Big Keith went back on for his 2nd stint after only being off the field for about 5 min that something might be up with Fifita. He should of at least went on middle of 1st half to get his head in the game not in end of 2nd half when he was too lazy at marker and let in that try from Pearce.
He needs to learn that he needs max impact when on the field. He is not playing U/20's anymore.

Something is going on there…Fifita looked very frustrated on the bench at not being out there. If he has signed elsewhere then let him go now!

Even more ridiculously stupid when you consider we ran out of interchange and played the last 5 mins or so with 12.
Yes injuries occurred, but the interchange bench was botched big time last night.
The commentators even commented on Galloway having a very short spell….
...and now we wait...

That is exactly right.
Also if he was using him so well and it was working the past month, why change tactics now? i could not believe he put him on so late in the game. talk about crushing a players confidence. fifita would have been flying high and ready to destroy the rooters yet he freezes his ass off for 72mins on the bench.

Was an absolute joke but do we expect any better from the supercoach? At 15-2 was the perfect time to bring fifita on, no way in hell they would have stopped him close to te line, the roosters were shot.

seriously he just defies belief sometimes

Can anyone put any truth to the rumour about fifita signing with the dogs? Very disturbing if true.

Andrew is not going anywhere. David on the other hand is looking for an opportunity to play FG and fancies his chances at the Dogs. Personally I reckon he's better off persevering at the Tigers as he has shown some good improvement in the backend of the season.

I would of thought David would be better staying at the tigers as it might have one side next year and with that more opportunities…. going to the dogs does not gauretee a 1st grade spot.
