If England were serious about International League

If England were serious about taking part in International League competitions and making them a serious threat instead of what they are at the moment, they should ring up David Gallop and talk about expansion of the NRL.

I'm not saying bringing an England team into the NRL but instead with the expansion of the NRL most likely to head towards Perth or Adelaide and in most likeliness NRL players will not be that appealed to move to the new clubs without the extra money. So the England Rugby League could pay and support the funding of the new NRL club and in doing so bring over 15 or more young players with potential and put them into the team. The week to week intensity will help them develop as an individual and with them being able to experience such a competition like the NRL it will only increase their chances on an international. It is evident with Gareth Widdop and now with what the Kiwis did with their kids

The NRL should give the clubs exemptions to the salary cap to promote English players coming to Australia. Not sure how it would work, and obviously we'd need an import rule to stop clubs stacking their sides with English players. Same with the French and PNG.
