IF Tigers were to relocate to WA, would you still support them or would you change team? If so, what team?

Give up on league and I'd support union. I'm tribal and if my team is not in the area I grew up in (ie the inner west) I have no reason to support it any more. I have no belief or trust in the NRL itself, but my loyalty is to my team, but if they move away from Sydney, its bye from me.

I understand the merge and the shift from my beloved magpies to the wests tigers located in inner western Sydney down to Campbelltown. Take that locality bit away and my connection has gone.

I no longer live in the inner west or Sydney itself anymore but that is my roots and I'm proud of it and my team. Take the team away and I have no reason to support it anymore.

Great point 👍

It would be difficult to only be able to attend away games.... If still follow them but probably even less than I do now

After the unification of west/ balmain, couldn't take any more and would quit the game and only watch spasmodically

Would still follow, but who knows for how long. You would think support from our Sydney areas would gradually dwindle over time, and continue to do so until it more or less disappears depending on the whole arrangement.

No ....... that would do me.
I would still watch the game of NRL but as an casual observer and not a dedicated fan of one team.

The way I support the team would change drastically, any and all financial support would cease, my membership would be gone, my merch $ would be gone, my foxtel would be gone, my promotion and support of the club and game would be gone. I would probably still watch the Tigers fta games, but I would never attend another game though, the game would no longer be a priority in my life.

It would be the end of me supporting the greatest football code in the world. When we merged it was difficult but not impossible(Wests are the only club i could accept a merger with as they are similar to the Tigers in many ways).
The only sports i would have any interest in would be NFL cricket and olympics.
Murdoch could put his foxtel box where the sun dont shine

I left Sydney years ago and still followed the Magpies/WT. I not sure how I'd react to relocation, but I think that the answer for me is yes, I'd still follow the Tigers.

Not a chance. To be honest, one more blowout game and I'm probably done. If they don't want to fight as a team they're not worth supporting. If they don't care why should we. Plenty of other things to do in my spare time.

I have been following the Tigers since the mid sixties, who else would/could I follow, while there is a
Weststigers team I will follow them anywhere.

I couldn't ever stop being a Tigers fan, but it would be different.

It wouldn't be as different for me as others due to the fact I live in Qld so I only ever watch games on TV anyway.

The thing that would kill it for me is not playing at Leichhardt, I look forward to my once a year trip to Leichhardt like nothing else, so once that stops it'll never be the same for me.

I'd never support another team though.
And I'd never stop following Rugby League

Wouldn't change anything for me. Will still be supporting them. Id miss the self inflicted torture of following this team.

Absolutely. Cheering for the tigers at multiple grounds is miles away from cheering on the magpies at Libcombe as a kid but it hasn't dampened my enthusiasm.
I am against any move from Sydney but would still love them.
