I would introduce statistics based performance measurement and accountability …..

It happens in every business ....

First thing I would look at is why did Adam Blair fail to run the ball 100m s In so many games

Blair could blame Sheens for this as easily as so many people in the forum have blamed Sheens for A to Z. However Blair would have to find another excuse after a few matches under Potter.

1\. re sign Robbie Farah for life
2\. fix our defence which i know we will
3.put Benji Marshall back to 6
4\. re sign Jacob miller
5\. sign 1 or 2 props for next year

1\. Be your own man and make your own decisions.
2\. Don't take advice fom this forum- or anybody else.

Good advice.

Isn't that exactly what Mr Sheens did …

Geez you blokes are funny

In one breathe it's an endearing quality whilst in the one before it's chronic arrogance.
How long do coaches get these days before the shiny, newness wears off and they just become the incumbent chump who wouldn't know a sweetly timed run around from a Matt Groat sidestep (work in progress)

Good luck Mr Potter ... They're a tough crowd

Can't see the humour in those observations.
Plenty of people think Sheens was dictated to by the senior players … true or not we may never know.
If the decisions were all his then he lived and died by them - and Potter should do the same.
Coaches only become 'the incumbent chump ' when they are failures.
Seems you're the forum's 'tough crowd' .

I think that that senior players tried to dictate to Sheens after players such as Gibbs, Ryan and Heighnington exited from Wests Tigers. It certainly looked to me that at hese times there was some acrimony from the senior players towards Sheens. Perhaps these senior players should look at themselves and just concentrate on what they are best at and being paid to do, playing football not playing club administrator/coach. If they don't Potter could face the same fate as Sheens sooner rather than later.
