Yep maybe that was Cleay’s plan all along- to see who would eventually stand out among the 5 players named and then give that player the gig on their own next season. I hope so anyway.

Let’s not forget many people didn’t even have Lawrence in their first 17 before the start of this year, maybe Cleary had doubts about him being there consistently as well. Nice to see Rowdy shine above all expectations. His form is the only good thing in what’s rapidly turning into another crap season…..that and beating Melbourne twice ?

Last couple of seasons I was wishing he would hang up the boots but this year I'm back an the bandwagon. He has been strong and most weeks he has been one of our best.
