I'm gonna wait and see what happens in the next two games...

…before hitting the panic button. Yes, last night was disgraceful, but the reality is that it's one loss on the road at the beginning of the season. Our next two games are at home, with one at each of our spiritual home grounds. If there is no improvement shown during those games, that's when it's time to worry. If we end up winning both of them, we'll be 2-1 and in the top 8.

I agree but there has to be at least one, hopefully two casualties from last nights side. You cannot serve that up with no consequence otherwise we have a whole bunch of guys who will see it as situation normal 2012 and keep doing it

We should assess our performance in groups of 3 games…give this team another 2 ges before we make big changes. For this weekend I'd drop utai and bring pettybourne in

Yep. Potter has to make them see straight away that this is a new regime, and under this new regime THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES for performances like what they produced last night. They may have coasted with Sheens' "no accountability" policy, but that can't be allowed to happen anymore.

agree 3 games and then make changes , but i would remove utai and replace him with the big winger from lower grade , , i would also give notice today to the players who i would be watching , ( miller ) we have brooks ( lawerence ) etc , show them anyone will be dropped including marshall ,

I totally agree that we should keep the current side for at least 3 to 4 games but put players on notice.

Utai was hooked last night and you woud think Reddy or Nofo will replace him.

Moltzen, Rowdy, Ashyford, Miller, Anasta and Bell should be given a warnig that their places are on the line and see how they respond.

Yeah lets really give the players a false sense of security after playing two sides who were most people's wooden spoon selections before Round 1

Lets scare the hell out of the team as a whole and make some changes (don't rush 6 NYC players in of course )and then see what happens then

Amazing what a little bit of accountability will do

To be honest, I want to give this side an opinion after 6 weeks. You never learn anything within the first 6 weeks. Only 1 or 2 sides ever play consistently and one of them is usually Melbourne anyways and the other usually gets slapped with the march premiers tag and fades out of serious reckoning. Last night couldn't have gone any worse and produced almost nothing positive but the reality is that with a new coach and his own methods, this side is finding it's way. It's about blending the old theories with the new and finding the right balance. It will take time.

Well they aren't now

Gee Wiz,,,I wish I had some you as my Boss!!! Blame the little winger,,it was all his fault! Put a shovel in the all the forwards hands and make 'em work hard all week! Benji, has to go! Living on 2005 and 3 busted shoulders all his career…We lost by a bucket load, pity Gidley didn't convert all the tries it might wake some up to realise,,WE NEED CHANGES and we needed them 12 MONTHS AGO!!!

And can you imagine whats going to happen CK when Penrith stroll down the middle and see Koroibete ,Moltzen and Utai as the back 3 when they get inside our 20 on the last tackle

The Tigers will know what it would of been like to be in Darwin during WW2 They will get bombed all night

Anyone still happy to keep the same side I wonder ???

If we dont win the two games where are our wins going to come from, we have to make changes but not loades of them. The 2nd row is one where i would make some serious changes, we need some size there that hopefully will give us some go up the middle. Teddy has to come in for Moltzen & Utai has to go off the wing, he didnt even contest the bomb they scored off last night on his wing. In saying there are plenty of others who need a rocket up their Bums as well.

Potter may need to put a list that is very easy to see on his deck with

ASHLEY GRAHAM , JEFF ROBINSON , NATHAN FIEN , MITCH REIN , JOSH REYNOLDS
SHANNON BOYD , FRANK PRITCHARD , FRANK PAUL NUUAUSALA , on it , as well as , call UK SCOUT urgent

Very well said, it is a bit of a known that the first 6-8 weeks is generally tough on sides and the ones that usually float through on cloud-9 don't see past finals week 1.
But they can't bank on that saving their asses, form a structured team to blend & mesh the next few weeks And hopefully it'll strengthen some loose ends and patch up some holes. Coz we have a lot of hard work to do.

I won't be surprised if we win this week. The way the competition is these days, anytime a team gets 40 put on them and look like certs to come out and get another hiding they usually come out and win. I'm convinced one of either Wests or the Warriors will win, if not both

I agree to a point , but we can't risk dropping games to teams we should beat (Penrith and Parra) Some changes will need to be made the different challenges both of these teams will throw at us

If we drop both games to Penrith and Parra with Manly and Melbourne to follow and we are 0-5 after Round 5 we are no chance at the Top 8

I would probably , hate to say it because he has lots of heart, drop utai. Also Moltzen. Utai is going to get bombed all night and Penrith have some tall guys just waiting to take him on. Also, where is Bodene Thompson?? I would bring in Tedesco, put Reddy i guess on the wing, or put Thompson in the centre with Lawrence and Ayshford to the wing. I believe we need both Pettybourne and Thompson playing this week. Lets see what our money bought! Use them up Mick.
