But Knights at Campbelltown always takes me back to that great day in 2009 when Marshall skipped across the field and through a gap to set up Ryan for the winning try.
I was sitting right near that sideline. Was prime Benji and it was breathtaking.

One of my earlier Rugby League memories was the 2001 comeback against the knights at Campbelltown. The rollercoaster has not stopped for 25 years...

WOW, has that been 10 years, seems just like yesterday.

I suppose when so many irregular things occur as they do to Wests Tigers and are seemingly discounted by the match officials / NRL as "nothing to see here" or they make up some odd ball rule that is nowhere to be found in the rule book, then I guess we start accepting them as nothing out of the ordinary.

When I think of playing the Knights at Campbelltown I always think of a game a little further back than that when we came from 24-0 down to win 36-32! Glory days at Cambo 😂

Yeah been thinking the same thing. Literally no one in the media said that Parramatta actually scored more tries than us the other day and we really only won because of their off goal kicking and a soft penalty in front of the posts. They all kept saying how fantastic we were. It makes for a nice change, but yeah it’s definitely praise more than we deserve.

We did perform well against the Cowboys and the Warriors (from the 30 minute mark), but were very flat against Souths, who didn’t play well themselves, and lucky to beat Parra, imo.

It was a very Wests Tigers wooden spoon era type of game. Totally dominated the game for large parts and almost found a way to lose it. The difference was the fact we seem to have more belief this year, and didn’t give up when momentum went against us.

How far that takes us we’ll see.
