Im not convinced

Good opportunity for WT to finally get 3 in a row, win as favourites and prove they can play well at Campbelltown.

I’m also not yet convinced but a win this weekend would go a long way to convincing me.
 
I’m on the fence a bit but think we go top 8 this year , where in the 8 I feel 6-8.
Reason
We still looked lost close to the red zone again against Parra , we had heaps of ball and did little with it , organised attack looked poor close up , needs work.
Head Starts , we need to be more focused to start the games , these games where after 10-20 we are down by 10/12 points we will get hammered by Broncos , Melbourne , Sharks , Penrith , we need to be up for the game from well before kick offf at present we are not , we are warming into the game and the good teams will not let us back they will pump us , if the Parra game was V Penrith the 50 they game Melbourne would have been same result for us , 2:key areas to fix this week
 
Confident based on our performances this year to date. Mentioned above but they are jagging wins similar to us and rolling. WTs definitely a better roster, and in all honesty we could have won v Souffs with 10% more concentration. Our pack has been dominant, but our attack is clunky at times, pretty ugly. This needs to be addressed on the edges, weird lines and running guys out of space so the D adjusts easily. Wasting tackles... For a period in all games WTs rolled the middle and space opened up out wide, get back to this please, Benji. Sure, we are missing centres, but Maka and Tito holding their own so far. Good to see Skelton back in, this will help us out of our 20, no disrespect to the Bears newest signing.... Gotta bring the power in this one, and limit big Dom getting the ball.

that will put pressure on sandon Smith he will fold so will crossland

This game will come down to how hard Newcastle are prepared to work in defence. AD at 6 with time and space could run havoc, but if they are up in his face he will continue to strangle his edge and step back inside to face the inside pressure.

If we play a more traditional 6/7, and we are own the middle corridor, Jock should provide the control we need to give AD time and space to operate. (Same game plan v Wahs).

If we don't own the middle it will be a tough assignment until we can get Latu on the paddock and get AD and his edge unlocked.

Assuming the same as past few weeks, Tavana will be on our right against Marzhew on their left side.

Which leaves Skelton vs Young. Some real contrasting styles on both wings
 
I can't say I'm really confident, but I watched the Knights game on the weekend and I don't think they were that good.
Canberra's forwards were so slow, Papaali looks done to me; he might be injured. Ethan Sanders really cost them with his poor kicking, and he's defending made Gagai much better than what he is at his age.
Newcastle won't have their way with us in the middle. I don't think Fletcher Sharpe was moving that freely.

I think we win, but we can't start the way we have the last couple of games. If we target Marzhew in the air and get our back rowers hitting the holes on either side of Smith and Sharpe it should do it.

Unfortunately I can't make it to the game this week, but no doubt I'll be at home on the lounge screaming at the TV.

But Knights at Campbelltown always takes me back to that great day in 2009 when Marshall skipped across the field and through a gap to set up Ryan for the winning try.
I was sitting right near that sideline. Was prime Benji and it was breathtaking.

It's the biggest and worst blind spot at our club. 1 win in six seasons at a home ground is a disgrace. It's a miracle that people still turn up there to watch. The thing that makes my blood boil is that you don't even get half of the passion from our side at that ground that you would if it was LO. What we do with Campbelltown as a venue doesn't match what we say we are as a development club and what we claim we want to accomplish with pathways.

That's not me turning our stadium situation into a contest. That's not my point. But there would be a royal commission if we only won match at LO in the same amount of time. Campbelltown is so neglected no one would care to even bring up that stat. I want our club to turn up with the same passion everywhere we play.

Let's see what happens, but I expect the same as usual for this one.

People blame the actual ground itself which is hilarious. It’s up to the club and the players to pump themselves up the same way they do when playing at LO. It’s on them, nobody or nothing else.

Or 2003 when he debuted. Came on early in the second half and played fullback. He tore them apart and we won by 40.

Surely this Sunday with how they're going it's a sellout, loud, heaving anti Knights crowd yelling you bunch of bucket arses.

They could be a little jaded from the bruising Parra game and might need the support for this one.

You can blame the ground or club. From the seating and the food to the basic amenities that create the overall experience.

Any supporter wants an atmosphere and energy that reflects the money that they spend.
