Improving our TPA situation

Tiges05,if we were to do what other clubs get away with,we would be caught straight up..
Don't know why but we the WTs are always bagged by the media and always watched in what we do.
If JT farts in the sheds,it would be in the media before the smell clears… 😱pen_mouth: 😱pen_mouth: :sign:

How bad would it be to rort and still do badly!

It all sounds good
A another element to this I think is attitude. Look at the mighty Wests tigers 2005.eg: Back slapping 'hi fives . They play for each other 'for the coach and the fans.
2014 South Sydney Great attitude. Played for each other the coach and the fans.
Attitude starts from the top and siphons all the way down.
Hopefully 2015 we have the right attitude.
Attitude is infectious.

Yes, success will come from the right attitude, an unprecedented level of professionalism and pride in the jersey, and keeping our stars on the park, playing with a bit more magic and a bit more mongrel, with a rehab team like an F1 pit-stop.
With that we might just pull off an 05.

But even then the success of 05 was fleeting and hasn't laid a lasting platform for player recruitment and financial resilience.

Maybe creative accounting is the only way now?
If that's the case though the NRL needs to start being honest about it. This pretence that there's a level playing field annoys me most.

The last two premiership winning teams, we've seen a side that was more obviously contrary to the spirit of the cap than we've ever seen before, and a side who acknowledged using performance enhancing technology that they admitted publicly to be extremely effective, and which was visibly so.

Add to that the wrestle, too many interchanges for halves to get a game on, and the fact the refs are increasingly playing the kind of hand in games' outcomes that would put any casino security team on high alert, and it's hard not to feel the NRL has been seriously compromised to the point of needing urgent remedies.

It's hard to see that an 05 could happen again in the current era of NRL. Not that I won't go into 2015 frothing at the mouth that it can and will happen again!
