In 2019 West Tigers Goals

Chris McQueen's clip is up onsite now. I hope he earns the right to achieve his goal this year.

Think about guys like McQueen, Reynolds, Packer, Matulino & even Fonua, if they play to their potential, reaching the heights they have in the past & add this to the likes of Brooks, Mbye, Marsters, Thompson, Rowdy, Twal & Matterson building on a strong 2018, gives us the makings of a very good squad.

Stranger things have happened.

Would not surprise me if McQueen has a very big year under his former coach. What a result that would be for the Tigers.

X2 unless he pulls something special this year I don't think he will be playing first grade

I just hope he really means what he says, because then he'll at least be putting in the hard yards, and that can only present more competition for spots and lift the guys around him. The more he wants it, the better our other backrowers have to play to hold their spot in the side. McQueen having a real dig, whether he plays NRL or not, can only be good for the team.

I feel for McQueen. Coming back from a serious neck injury was always going to be difficult. I hope he does enough to earn a chance and if given, I hope he goes great guns.

For sure it was a great video.

I watched some of his games in reserve grade last year and he was poor at that level. I admire people wanting to compete to a high level but wanting to do it and having the ability are two different things.

Garner outperformed him in ISP last year. McQueen was awful and almost seemed to be taking it easy. There was no intensity in anything he did.

Was always a risky signing in terms of giving a 30yo a 3 year contract, even before his neck injury. Would hope that there is an option in the clubs favour at the end of this, but I doubt it. Either that or he decides that he wants to see the world & takes up a super league contract.

Why would there be?

Sorry should have been at end of this…. year. So we can punt him.

I don’t see why there would be. We signed him for 3 years. So unless he was to get a contract in the ESL at the end of this year (which I think is doubtful) we’re obligated to him for this year and next year.
