In the absence of anything from the club, I have decided to pen a short 'Open Letter' to everyone on behalf of the CEO. He can sign it if he wishes.
If I had seen something like this when I woke up this morning, I will at least know someone else cares about our team. It might contain a lot of the usual corporate buzzwords and BS, but it at least shows EFFORT!

An Open Letter to all Wests Tigers Fans
I write this after our most recent loss by 54 points to a strong Canberra Raiders outfit. Like all fans, the players, coaching staff, administration and sponsors, I am bitterly disappointed with this result. I am also disappointed at our recent win/loss record after a promising start to the season in the first few games.
Make no mistake, there are many people hurting and embarrassed by our performance last night. But what holds us all together is a love for the Wests Tigers. This unity will make us strong - provided we stay united.
It is understandable that some call for the sacking of the coach in these circumstances. The coach takes responsibility for the performances. Jason Taylor is both professionally and personally hurting. As the CEO, I am also hurting professionally and personally, as is Football Manager Mark O’Neill.
Some have commented on the desire from the players to perform. Please be assured that each Wests Tigers player enters the field of play with the intention of giving their absolute best effort. I also understand that at times, some performances are not as expected and that desire is called into question. Any player who does not wish to give 100% effort at the Wests Tigers as they represent our club and the supporters is not welcome here. I do not believe any current player has any other desire than to do their best.
The club has had a number of behind the scenes issues with which we have had to deal in the past few seasons, there is no hiding from that. Player criticism, coach criticism, board criticism. Some of the criticism is justified. But it is for these reasons that current management are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to get the Wests Tigers into a position to be a feared club, a popular club and with a competitive team every week. This is hard work and if success is measured by effort, we will certainly succeed.
Please stay **united**. We have **committed** ourselves to moving forward and doing everything we can to improve. We WILL **achieve** greatness.
The CEO
