I think this will be it, it will be argued that Inglis jumped into it and Souths will probably cop anything under 3-4 weeks but if they fight it im sure they will argue that Farrell's tackle contributed to it

You only have to look at the first frame of the hit to see it was a body check, carelessly executed by the result of frame 2 & 3…

First contact was with the chest... It was NOT a High Shot. It just ended up wrong!

You need a trip to OPSM or you are a complete (fill in the space )

Why is it worse?

It is alot worse IMO - Young was neither falling in the tackle or stepping in any direction, **Inglis had plenty of time to line him up legitimately.** He also launched off the ground, if Young is such a "shortarse" as you say then there is no need to jump at all into him.

Inglis is a coward- he was nowhere to be seen running the ball up in the Rabbitoh's next set after the incident, frightened of retaliation. (Maybe if he was running at women instead he may have had a crack- he is after all fond of beating up sheila's).

If the judiciary are fair dinkum then he should be sitting out the next 4 weeks at least

The reason he rushed Young, tried to shorten the distance and TIME between himself and Young, was to prevent the offload, which was what was clearly on Youngs mind (him looking around for support)

Good on you for assuming that I haven't played the game, unfortunately you are wrong. And I don't listen to 2GB or read the Telegraph either BTW.

Of course Inglis was trying to shut down the offload- any idiot with basic knowledge of the game could understand that. But Young had run 25 metres or so after he made the break until the time that Inglis contacted him so Inglis had sufficient time to clean him up without launching off the ground and connecting with his head IMO- after all Young hardly runs as quick as Usain Bolt does he?

Inglis probably didn't intend to hit him in the head, but he did. I CAN'T RECALL TO MANY PLAYERS WHO HAVE BEEN KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS WITHOUT BEING WHACKED IN THE HEAD.

A great tackle if it had come off but if it doesn't then cop the punishment for being reckless :deadhorse:

I think there is a little bit of over reaching by the MRC as the recent trend has been what they think are legitimate charges get downgraded so now they are starting high and will end up about where they think
