Inglis to miss 4 Nations, injury blamed

Melbourne Storm NRL star Greg Inglis is to undergo shoulder surgery this month which will rule him out of Australia's Four Nations campaign.

Inglis will play his last match for the Storm against Newcastle on Sunday at AAMI Park after signing a lucrative new deal with the Brisbane Broncos.

While the Broncos don't want to jeopardise skipper Darren Lockyer's Four Nations availability by rushing him back from a rib injury, the club confirmed Inglis would go under the knife to ensure he's fit to start the 2011 season.

"Inglis is expected to have the surgery in the next few weeks, meaning he is certain to be fit for the Broncos when the 2011 NRL season commences in mid-March," the Broncos said on their website on Wednesday.

Wow!!! If Lawrence wasn't injured as well, we could've seen him take Inglis' place in the four nations. C'mon Rowdy!!! you are a strong boy.

The ozzies will be significantly weakened without Inglis, Who is capable of taking his place?

They'll probably put Lyon in.

tahu is way overated if you ask me. hope rowdy can make it back and play a part this year and maybe get a call up. Sheens is the coach after all.

They should have Jennings and Tonga in the centres

They will probably have **Cooper and Tahu**

 These wont be there…

Jennings is a chance for Right Wing or Centre, but Lyon possibly has the inside running there to get Falou's spot.

Left Centre could easily be Lawry's if he plays in the Grand Final considering we have the Australian Coach, but I'd say Darius Boyd will be either Right Wing or Centre. Queenslanders playing in the Finals who played Origin will get the inside running at the selection table...

Tahu will be too busy looking for more race hate to stand up against!!!!
The guy needs to get over it.

Without Inglis though, I really think it opens up the competition. The kiwis nowdays hang with us for 60-70 minutes (sometimes even longer) before one of the megastars like Thurston or Inglis pull off something big and win it for the Aussies.
