Interesting Fact

If we beat the rabbitohs on saturday night it will mean that we have beaten every team below us (bar the storm who haven't faced yet) on the ladder shall we remain in 4th and also mean that we have not beaten a team above us. a few weeks back against the broncos i noticed that we had only beaten one team in the eight now this just shows how much this competition can change and that a loss can lead to a string of losses and drop out of contention for the top 4 and potentially the top 8.

If we can win 3 of the last 5 matches this year all of us will be happy with that and should get us a top 4 spot and with only 2 home matches left the boys will need us fans to turn up this saturday and in a few weeks against parra to give us a large supporters base. Come the last round against the Titans we would like to have our spot finalised and play early in the week to give us the longest possible turn around for the finals

INTERESTING FACT

A Tim Sheens coached side has never beaten a John Lang coached side :frowning:

This week the tigers will put that stat to bed :sunglasses: 😛ray:

See that's the thing! Everyone rates the dragons as premiership certainties, but they only ever beat teams beneath them, never teams above!

Kul, that's right up there with the stat that Tigers are Specials once we make the Finals. The Wests Tigers have never lost a Finals Match!!!

We've also never lost a game with fitzy wearing the number 7

I thought he was wearing no. 7 back in 2003 and 2004\. Surely we lost at least one game with him back then.

Interesting stat that one, I like it. Makes the Tigers look alot better than what I think they look. So if we beat Penrith, that means its only the Dragons and Roosters who we've lost to, who have been the standouts of this year (playing an illegal team can't count here). I'0m impressed.

ok, could be wrong here, but he's only put on the 7 twice:
2004: Bulldogs at Gosford. Elford intercept seals the win. He didn't actually play 7 in this game as I think Kieran Kerr made his debut
2010: Broncos

I do recall him playing in the 6 jumper a lot back in 03/04'ish. In fact the game against the Knights at cambo (benji's debut) he put in a very nice kicking game.

anyone know of any other games where he played in the 7?

2003 Broncos,,,12-10 Won

7\. D Fitzhenry
18\. B Marshall played half

I thought he played half for at least 3 games while Prince was on origin duties but, silly me, forgot about Kieren Kerr.

That's an incredible stat if its true, Up there with Moltz then!

you are right bismark, he did, but that bulldogs game was one of them. dunno about the others.
Reynolds???

Thought you'd pull a Moltzen stat out to put some icing on this cake.
The reason we haven't beaten the teams above us is we have been playing pretty averagely.
