Interesting Obeservation

I'm just going on memory here, but I'm pretty sure we played the Titans last year in about Round 6 or 7 at Skilled Park.

We lead 14 - 0 after 15 minutes, were absolutely blitzing them, and then clocked off and lost 16 - 14 (Maybe not the exact scoreline but extremely similar).

I find it interesting that we play them this week at Skilled Park on that back of a very similar incident, albeit a much more positive result.

I'm really worried about this game.
The titans are better than they appear.
We ate the easiest team they have played at home and they are due for a win at skilled.
I'll be surprised if we jag this one.

It is definitely a danger game. Titans aren't all that bad and have some good players in their squad. It is almost always so close between us regardless of ladder position. The boys are going to have to be on their game. No lapses this round!!

I'm pretty sure the Titans scored (or came very close to) off a kick where Moltzen let the ball bounce near the try line? It was one of his first games starting back at fullback. I remember yelling at the TV - "NEVER LET IT BOUNCE MOLTZEN!". Brings back horrible memories of the Brisbane game a few weeks ago.

Miller also played the whole game at 7 I think too?

The thing I remember most ( apart from Moltzens shocker , his worst game at fullback) was Sheens doing his nana about warning them and warning them not to take on of Princes dummies and they did

WE we robbed that game, Dwyer got incorrectly called back, if it was play on as it should've been we win…

having said that we seem to struggle up there, i think we only won once, gonna be a tough game.

I agree with them wholeheartedly. I really hope we hand onto him for next year, with a year under Payten's coaching he will be ready.

Interesting that with a pack including Toddy, Gibbs and Dwyer we still didn't win…

We simply have to win games like this if we want to be contenders. It is a tricky game but the Titans are very beatable.
I know we should 'take it week by week', but our upcoming rounds are as follows:
9: GCT
10: *BYE
11: NZW
12: NQLD
13: CANB
14: MELB (understrength due to origin)
15: SYD

Could we go on a run now a'la the Sharks/Storm? That would certainly put us back in contention!

and cruising from memory - the boys just rolled through sets, and kept punishing them up the field.

then a soft try from Mead (i think) beating Beau Ryan, Blake Ayshford,and Tim Moltzen in defence, when any other defense in the league would have bundled him into touch started it all.

Actually thought the first try they scored was the Moltzen lets it bounce , and its bounces back over his head and they score

The stupid question was aimed at your stupid point

A lot of teams are still doing things they were doing 2 seasons ago and seeing it has been fairly successful in our case I imagine we will continue
