Intrust Super Cup Grand Final

A couple of old Tigers running around in the Intrust Super cup Grand Final (Humble and Lui). It looks as if Lui is still only focused on half the game (So lazy in defence).

Not a bad game.

The Walker brothers make it interesting with some entertaining attacking options. (Old Taylor could learn a thing or two from these lads). :deadhorse:

Biggest professional foul I have ever seen that didn't result in a sin bin. Humble tackles not 1, but 2 players without the ball 5 m from the try line. Penalty goal. Jets 26 - Blackhawks 14\. An entertaining game on a wet track.

Are the Walker boys interested in coming to Sydney, they would suit the traditional Wests Tigers way we play.

Funny…..as I was watching this game i was thinking how we would go with the Walkers coaching us!

Looks like i wasnt on my Pat!

Fantastic news for the Jets , been in the comp since 1982 and was a memorable year in 1986 for this old fart

Congrats in particular to Warren Wendt the CEO , Mark Bishop the assistant coach , Steven Johnson (Chairman of the Board ) and last but certainly not the least Jim Landy a truly wonderful man and Ipswich Jets stalwart

The club operates on a shoestring budget compared to many other sides and the Walkers certainly got every millimetre of talent these young men have

Well you will get to the Jets live next weekend on GF day when they play the NSW Cup champion , I wouldn't have a clue who won that GF ??
