Ipad apps

I just bought my wife an ipad2 for valentines day (very romantic, huh?) and haven't had any experience with ipads or iphones before. So I was wondering what apps people recommend we download - games, education things for preschool kiddies, handy gadgets, etc…

Roarfeed works on an ipad, doesn't it?

Definitely roarfeed.

Others I like:
NSW TAB
Angry Birds
Fruit Ninja
Sydney Morning Herald
Real Racing 2
Plants vs Zombies
Uno
Weather app

Sonic 4 is very addictive, it's set out like the original sonic series on sega.
Shazam, if you hear a song on the radio and want to know what it is, it'll tell ya.
Temple run

I'd recommend a couple of others if your ipad was jailbroken.

Go into the App Store icon on the iPad. Tap "Top 25" down the bottom, then "Top Free" up the top. That will give a list of the most downloaded apps from that day. I check it every two-three days for new games, useful productivity apps etc.

some extremely useful apps are the banks, google maps, woolworths app, obviously google, not so much for the IPad but for IPhone, Hey Tell is awesome, leave and receive voice messages.
Skype, Viber and BUMP are handy (more for the phone)
