Is Simona a winger?

Maybe because he does not get any "clean" ball playing the right edge…our 2nd phase play over the last 8 weeks has been very, very ordinary....

Nope, both nofo and simona have been quiet this year and its no surprise that that edge has been deprived of ball. probably time to swap simona and lawrence's sides though…

He's been making plenty of metres the last few weeks. Nothing spectacular but he's still making something out of nothing considering, like everyone has been saying, he doesn't get any decent ball. And if he was moved to the wing wouldn't mean the return of the beloved Lulia? Pretty clear the coaching staff aren't playing Nofa at centre anytime soon.

He just needs to get some ball. Brooks plays strictly on the left hand side and as a result that's where almost all of our attack is directed.
I'd switch Lawrence and Simona. Simona has enough pace to turn the half opportunities Brooks creates into points. Either that or Brooks needs to be allowed to roam the field freely, as I can't see Anasta putting Simona into any gaps…

Anasta could make jarryd hayne look terrible. I'm not going to judge Simona or Nofoaluma on their play because of him. Both of them are deadly runners as seen on kick returns this year and overall last year play.

For a bloke that has played in the centres every game this season he has played ,I'm again going to go out on a limb and say he is a centre

He hasn't had quality ball all season

Both he and Nofa rarely see the ball - in fact if neither didn't have to take bombs or decide to get into dummy half for a run they would NEVER see the ball.
I wish they'd both start to get some chances as they are both great runners and fight for every inch they can make (especially Nofa)

Nobody has made an argument against him being better on the wing. All his best moments in first grade have come on the wing imo.

The tries that stand out for me that Timmy has scored I'm sure have been at centre

Watching one of Bonstonkers videos as we speak and the Penrith try was at centre

all three were on the wing.

i would still have him at centre for now.. we dont have any centres.

Melbourne tries were at wing but the Penrith try he was definitely in the centres

He scored a fair few tries at centre and he defends far better in the centres than he does on the wing

when he actually scored the try, koro was on the wing in that game but went off injured.. braith moved to centres and simona went to the wing. im 100% sure about that.

I agree that I'd have him in the centres for now, but I do think he's been a better player in his NRL career on the wing. If we had good centres I'd have him on the wing ahead of Nofoaluma. I wonder what it'd be like if they swapped positions (and received good ball).

Hell Simona has played about half a game this year on the wing when Richards was hurt and scored most of his tries at the time.

We already have three other talented wingers, so there's no doubt his future is at centre. I'm not sure whether he's better there or not, but he definitely looks best when given space or in broken play.

I think he can play wing or centre but I think he plays better on the left. It could also be the obvious issue in that Anasta is typically on the right.
