Thats the only problem with some Queenslanders they think they are another country, they forget we are all Aussies.

Except for Tasmanians. Some of their towns are very creepy. Everyone looks related to each other.

On Topic,

Great effort by Sam Stosur. She had mental demons that she had to overcome and she did. Congratulations must also go to her coach.

Yep a very well done to Stosur. After she lost to that scrubber in the French Open I thought she might be a bit of a choker but that was dominant. Almost reminded me of when Hewitt ripped apart Sampras at the US Open. I'm guessing this won't be her last Grand Slam win.

I thought Sam would get another chance to be up there again one day, even after losing to that 'scrubber' as you so delightfully call her :unamused: Schiavone was awesome that day, she was on a mission and no one would've beaten her. It was no slight on Sam for losing that Open.

On today though, how awesome was that performance! I've never seen Serena so comprehensively beaten by an opponent before (well not that I can remember, anyway). Well done Sam, we are so very proud of you, and you're right Yossarian, it definitely won't be her last Grand Slam. It's nice to have another Aussie woman at the top in tennis
