Dudes, Is Superleague on pay TV ?

it has been for the last 3 years, not live but delayed telecasts

Channel 9 took over the rights in 2009…....they have a 3 year deal.....Didn't see any 2009 games on Fox last year

must of been some challenge cup games i watched on there last year…..dunno

Its a bloody disgrace - they did the same thing last year and as Geo points out with the Olympics on the chances of seeing any games soon are slim. Its hard to fathom why they would bother bidding for the rights if they don't intend to show any games.

Channel 9 snapped up the Super League rights so they could have a challenge to Fox Sports Sunday League games and use the ESL as a run into the 4.00pm delayed telecast.
Absolutely disgraceful effort from 9, if you missed the games on Fox at least you got to see a replay later on.

Forgot to add that you can listen to live radio streaming on the internet, you just have to know what time the games are live, the Friday night games can be heard from around 07.00 ESDST and for the Saturday game about 05.00 while if you want to listen in on the Sunday games as they are a day game around Midnight.
I listened in to the opening game of the Crusaders and Leeds on bbc.co.uk/5live, I think you will also find that some of the clubs have their own broadcast, go to superleague.co.uk and at the top of the page click onto what ever club your interested in, there's a lot of ex Tigers in the UK and this is how you can check on how they're going.
