Is the Biggest Problem the Halves or the Coaching?

I watched today's game closely and all the flaws of the Tigers' game were quite apparent; defence not moving up/ failing to slow the play the ball, ineptness of the halves, no game plan/ purpose in attack. They are the main problems in my view but you could probably add others, ie, not supporting the ball carrier (especially Api), lack of desperation or aggression, etc, etc.
However, the question I will ask the forum is, what do you think is the main problem - pathetic play of the halves or ineffectual game plans from the stubborn, out of touch Sheens and inexperienced, naive Marshall.

For me we don't have a halfback that controls the game like a Reynolds, Townsend, DCE etc..
I thought When Wakeham came on he looked great and started straightening up the team and made breaks because he knows how to draw and pass.. I want to give him another go next week at 7, Brooks 6, AD Centre and Stains FB.

I think we can put it down to the quality of our halves. Wakeham, a reserve grade half, showed how to control the the plays. His combination with Brooks was OK. If we don't see Wakeham in the halves next week I'll annoyed, but not surprised.

Will Sheens and Co. have the courage to drop Noffa, shift or drop AD and install Wakeham as the fist string half?

I guess time will tell.

Well if they don’t then Brooks must have incriminating material on senior Tiger executives.
Wakeham HAS to go in, at least to see if having a “normal” half back can make a difference. And he’s a pretty fair goal kicker as well.

Nah, Doueihi should be dropped altogether. Can't tackle. The rest I agree with.

From previous history I would say no. This is a pity because it's as clear as day that now is the time for Sheens to send a very clear message that selfish, indecisive play with the ball, combined with lazy gutless defence will not be tolerated.

He said at the presser he'd be doing all those things so we'll see.

He alluded to that in the post match press conference. I think Wakeham will start.

I did not watch the game, but I have said over and over that the halves is the problem, not the coaching or the forwards or the backs. With our 3rd loss I think the reality is now starting to shine. Different coaching staff a better forward pack, I am not really seeing the rest of the spine as being the major problem, however I would definitely purchase another fullback or move Doueihi there has not changed anything. Time to move Brooks on and purchase someone else, whom can be a leader to steer the ship and make the right decisions on the play that is required.

Wakeham has the same coach and plays as brooks, but brooks has failed to perform.
In todays game brooks thru poor passes From the first minute to the last

Well if they play like they train then it's the coach.... I've seen better attacking footy by park footy teams.
Our catch pas catch pass is u/10s stuff... No angles no decoys little inside balls... Wake an comes on and a significant change occurs in the play... Is that due to the coaches directions or who knows what?
