Ordinary player.
Had a good year at NZ then a decent year at Parra.

Doesn't seem like he enjoys the game or cares about the outcome.

It's early days at Penrith but it's been very underwhelming from him. Big shoes to fill and they've recruited some one with little to no passion.

he is cooked (i think the panthers are too) well it makes me feel better that he and particularly Bateman have looked so bad at new clubs and our new boys have looked great...yes early days but... to be fair i would not have minded if he stayed as i thought towards the end of last year it was the best he looked for us since he joined. oh well

My gut is some of these guys (Bateman, Papali'i possibly Stefano) put most of the blame on the club for their lack of progress and development, which speaks to their lack of accountability. They came here to go through the motions of being an NRL player, which is not good enough to lift a club out of the cellar.

I think this theme was recognised by the club, hence the theme "thrive or survive" over the off-season.

I hope these guys are realising they were part of the problem last year.
