Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership Coach David Heath has named his team to take on the New Zealand Warriors this Saturday, March 18 in their Round 3 match.

Kickoff for the match is at 1:00pm AEDT from Campbelltown Sports Stadium as Wests Tigers look to bounce back from a slow start to the year and record their first win of season 2017.

The Warriors will come into the match full of confidence after a second dominant win in 2017 — demolishing the Bulldogs 36-22 to sit on top of the Intrust Super Premiership ladder.

Retaining the same back seven from last week's loss to the Panthers, Heath has made a number of changes in the forward pack with Wes Lolo, JJ Felise and Kyle Lovett all returning.

Matt Ballin will also start the match after making a successful return from injury last week.

Darcy Cox joins Jeremy Marshall-King and Taniela Paseka on the bench, while Jordan Grant returns on the bench after missing last week's clash with the Panthers due to concussion.

Don’t miss our first game of the year at Leichhardt Oval on Sunday, March 26!

It's not a bad looking side on paper at all, but geez I hope they can turn it around because both games so far have been shockers and well below the team's own expectations I'm sure.

Paseka has come up from NYC (who were also well beaten) to add some extra strength and power coming off the bench.

I wish we picked him this week especially when we are up against Canberra.

Paseka played ISP last week…largely ineffective but no one was when you let in 52 points..

Did Tatola deserve his call up?

Two games for two floggings. Who is coach David Heath. Underwhelming so far is putting it mildly.

Those outside backs are just woeful. No wonder they can't keep the opposition out. Pack should more than hold it's own though, but obviously that hasn't been happening so far.

I wouldn't read anything into his call up. Last week Lolo was on the extended bench. That spot could be a revolving door of a new kid given a spot on the extended bench every week. I remember last year they were doing the same thing using a rookie as 19th man. I'd assume the extended bench train with the squad all week. That could be why.

Doesn't explain why you would say Ballin will start in ISP and name him in the NRL

At least offer some mystery for Stuart's plate :unamused:

Not real bright

I don't understand why this team is performing so badly.

I hope Lovett not playing is not a sign he will be in first grade.

Anyone know if paseka and Tali are injured or will they play NYC?
