Raudonikis and Ryan say Isaac Moses is holding Tigers to ransom

Rugby league veteran Tommy Raudonikis and former Tigers back Beau Ryan both believe Wests are being held to ransom by player manager Isaac Moses.

Moses manages Aaron Woods, James Tedesco, Mitchell Moses and Luke Brooks – the so called Big Four that the Tigers are struggling to keep at Concord.

While playmaker Brooks has already re-signed with the club, Mitch Moses has asked for a release to join the Eels, Tedesco is being chased by the Roosters and Bulldogs and there are fears Woods could jump ship to Canterbury as well.

Raudonikis believes it’s an untenable situation.

“I look at it this way, that one manager has got those four blokes on contract,” Raudonikis told Channel Nine.

“He’s running the show. He’s holding that club, the Wests Tigers to ransom and that’s what he’s doing.

“I don’t think that should be allowed.

“(Mitchell) Moses – I think Wests Tigers should keep him at the club, because who else are they going to put there? But in saying that, he could be poisonous and that could go through the club.”

Ryan, who played over 100 games for the Tigers between 2007 and 2012, agreed.

“Tommy’s 100% right,” he said.

“Isaac Moses is holding the club to ransom. I feel sorry for the fans.

“They’ve got a good team, they should be in the top four. They’ve got a great side, the players don’t want to be there, they want more money.

“How can they all be off-contract – their four best players – at the same time?”

Wonder how the Medium 4 feel about him. His stalling cost Moses $750,000\. He had months to sign our deal.

Ironic as it sounds im grateful that he did stall.

We could have easily been in the same position of paying overs. Now that deals have been reportedly reconfigured means we can look to build a better balanced team.

So in that regards - thank you Isaac Moses, your timing has proven to be impeccable….. for the tigers that is.

Gavin looks after taumololo from Cowboys and specialises over a number of sports. I always have a little joke in getting him to the Tigers but I am greeted with a wry smile. He has some good stock of players and is dealing with the Tigers at the moment. Just let the process happen.

Yeah the problem is he is also dealing with 15 other NRL clubs

Intersting that Beau Ryan made the same comment. As a recent player with the club you would expect him to have some inside goss.

Sounds like we got ourselves a good break.

(can't find M Moses thread)
Mitch's comment with the mike on the field when queried he stated he had to prove to everyone - who could he mean other those on this board? I thought a bit rude of the interviewer to bring up the contract offer when he was still on the field.

Moses showed more class than most of the clowns on here - tried his guts out again even though he's been bagged non stop by so called supporters.

And he was so happy about the win. I hope Cleary improves his consistency and they work out the bread so he can stay.
