It will get better.

Obviously agree but that should be a given. Community engagement in the SW and IW and surrounds should have been priorities since day 1. Why are we rolling out pretty basic programs after 20 years?

Yeah mate think since sheens left they really drop the ball in junior engagement, hence why we lost everyone and have crap players

What is clear is that we are not the only club who's fans are frustrated by their clubs inability to field a winning FG side even when they have the provisions to do it - which all goes back to the lack of quality players available to share between 16 clubs soon to be 17.
The salary cap in its current state allows the few strong clubs to remain just that. They will keep picking off the best players for less - propped up by TPA's, golf games, jobs for partners etc, while the rest pay too much for players who are not worth it, stuff up their cap and then pay for them to play elsewhere to find room for another risk.
Penrith have shown the way out but that takes time - assembling a group of young players that have ability, come through together, stay together, and successfully transition to FG.
In the meantime more coaches to fall for trying to deliver an impossible task.

I must admit, the edge defence has improved somewhat, that Nofa hasn't been caught coming in cause the middles are out of position. I haven't seen that like we've seen in previous seasons. I hope I haven't opened a can of worms now. Touch wood.

Spoke very highly of Madge. Also of madden, thought he was our best player last 2 weeks.
Hastings was very impressive on the show and spoke well , really well and if all those things are true about Madge never putting players on show in front of other team members taking the blame for Shitty players week in week out….
If all this is true WHY does this squad play like they dis interested …some players are just cashing their payments and doing as little as possible and put themselves in harms way as little as possible…..
If what Hastings said about Madge is true than we should be cleaning out this roster in a big way ……

Spoke incredibly well.

Very impressive guy.
Open and honest.

With Sheens overlooking the juniors I can see our Flegg boys being the cornerstone of our successful side in the next few years, much like what Penrith did. Luckily we have an expert in Sheens overseeing this.
The COE should assist in pathways as well.

It's going to be less talent around with the Dolphins starting 2023.
