Police begin to build profile of 15-year-old gunman
9NEWS

Police have begun to build a profile of the 15-year-old gunman responsible for Friday's fatal terror shooting of a NSW Police Force employee in Parramatta. Police are focusing their investigation on how the lone teenager was radicalised as well as how and where he acquired the gun used in the attack. They are also looking into his family and friends. Reports claim the boy was on the fringe of a radical group which may have encouraged him to carry out the attack

leave Islam alone guys, its a religion of peace…..................(cough)

I don't think that is such an outrageous statement. Its not the religions fault that idiots misinterpret it and use it as a vehicle for bloodshed. They've been many Christian fanatics over the yrs who have killed in the name of their religion, but no one will say that Christianity isn't a religion of peace.

Aussie bogans with their Aussie flags hanging on their walls and the 6 stars tattooed on the forearm's are just as bad.

The usual bigotry and racism has reared its head. The cycle of hate is never ending. Both sides don't seem to see that the hate both sides have is used as fuel for the other side.

I'm an Aussie so that hardly counts as racist. And i'm not saying that as a radical Muslim. Very different.

These people exist. Look at the Cronulla riot and the recent protests as proof.

Since you have randomly brought Christianity into the argument, I feel compelled to explain it for you as plainly as possible.

There is no justification in Christianity, no justification whatsoever, for the use of violence. It simply does not exist.

People ignorant of Christianity bring up topics of violence in the Bible. However without going into detail of context, these examples are all from the Old Testament. The Old Testament law is not binding on Christians, the only law Christians follow is the New Testament teachings of Jesus which teach us love and tolerance.

In fact the only justification the Catholic Church allows for violence is if your life is in danger, and using force (be it lethal or non lethal) will protect your life and the lives of those around you.

Obviously islam does contain many teachings where violence is permissible. Every Islamist group uses Koranic passages to justify violence and killing, so there is no use arguing that it doesn't. Not all Muslims are violent people, however this may be in spite of Islam, and not because of it.

So there is no use bringing Christianity into this debate to justify the actions of Muslims.
