My god, what rubbish comments on this thread!

If you believe Miller has been given a fair shot at the number 7, then I have got the winning lotto numbers for tonight. It is obvious that Farah does not want him at number 7\. Farah is a dominant personality in this side and it is strangling the team. Miller is now off to England, add that to the long list of so called no hopers that have moved on, do I need mention them.

THREE coaches. THREE coaches have told him to piss off. get the message yet?

I think you will find it is 1 coach [sheens], 1 player [Farah] and he chose to leave Easts for opportunity…

Ironically, the 'coach' who poached him from Easts now has him over at Hull???

Todd Payten didnt…and won a comp with miller

I know whos not getting the message phyre

The others have it right phyr3\. Miller left the Roosters because he was shown opportunity at WT and the Chooks had Pearce and Carney ahead of him in the halves. There is no doubt Miller is ambitious and probably has attitude but what is wrong with that in a #7?????

Payten won a comp with him, I'd love to find out from Todd what the truth is about Miller because letting him go when the only person capable of playing 7 is injured (Anasta) was madness. It not only left us without a half-back, also without a kicker.

Farah never showed anything but negative body language (and on-field language) to Miller, that's where I'm thinking it comes from.

So gazroc you would prefer to keep Miller and move Farah on then? My god.

There should be no need to. Everyone should grow up and work together for the damn team - and that INCUDES Farah!

They were being asked to play footy together not get married. Plenty of players manage to do this without feeling the need to be besties for life.

There were plenty of other guys who won a comp with Payten - I don't see all of them killing it in first grade now.
Truth is that Miller was given a chance and was bog average at best.
Why is everybody worried about letting a non performer go?
We still have plenty left for everyone.

Agreed. Miller should have been let go based on performance. I think we need to be really careful buying players as well. Any purchase should involve a lot of diligence in getting it right.

I meant still running around , happy.
Take your pick from about 14 players last night.

Really….you guys saying four games = giving a guy a go, no idea.

If four games is all players get then 4/5ths of the entire palying base should be punted

Barra, you have said it all.
Since Prince left, the Tigers have crucified several Half-backs they supposedly gave "chances" to. The best in my eyes was the "chance" given to Blake Lazarus against Penrith at Penrith. He was the "new" Prince, but he got about FIVE MINUTES, if that, in the position and got shunted off to full-back(IF my now poor memory is right)for the remainder of the match.
Who is responsible for the failure( and almost failure of Lui) of all our half-back trials over the past 6 years?

He was running around …........ breaking club protocol

I am not a Miller fan…But which ever way you look at it he was not given a decent go.

I don't know why but he must do something on the training paddock that is not liked because on the field he had limited opportunities.

Now we sign Eddie Paea.

Where are you getting "4 games" from??? He played more than that.

For all the Miller sympathizers on here here is a question for you…..can any of you name ANYTHING at all that Miller did in his games in 1st grade that was worthwhile or demonstrated any of his ability?
He scored 1 try from about 5 metres out. That is the grand total of his positive output in 1st grade from memory. Cannot recall any 40/20's or try assists but would be happy to be proven wrong as my memory isn't the best.
As for saying he won a NYC premiership.....comparing NYC to anything remotely in the same stratosphere as NRL is just absurd.

Some players take time to get up to NRL speed.

People today expect instant everything.

Reynolds for Souths only scored his first try of the season this week.

Add to the fact he's been shunned and blocked out by Farah & Benji often, he's a fall guy much like Humpty this weekend

Its such a big step from 20s to NRL, not many can make an impact instantly, he has added pressure because he's the 7….people need to understand that sometimes it all doesnt fall into place the moment you make your debut

**Miller:
We go from scoring approx 18 points per game with him...
...to scoring approx 5 points per game without him**
You wanted soemthing, you got it
