Do you think they had WTs best interests at heart when extending Benji for so long earlier?

I tired of people saying this is a distraction for players. What a cop out! If someone leaves my job ok move on. It’s not distracting to me that they’re going. If you’re using that as an excuse to play shit and it’s not even you, you shouldn’t be playing first grade.

I think members of both wests and balmain voted for their respective boards and the WT board was made up of 50/50

so what do we do? How do we finally get HBG out? From ACCC reporting, Liquor and gaming investigation, their mass incompetency that still doesn’t move the nrl… what hasn’t been tried? what must be done to wrestle our club from their cold dead hands?

Absolutely. We've produced one decent talent for us in the last decade, Pole. The most shallow talent pool in the comp
Players with minimal athletic ability who are poorly coached. We've never had worse pathways than we do now.

One sightly above average player in a decade is abysmal.
It's only when players leave the club that they start to improve. Players do not improve at WT

I think the club has had no trouble producing talented footballers.
It has difficulty developing them to their potential & retaining them in their peak years though.
I see what you are saying. But I think we see a number of talented players come through our junior ranks, which suggests the systems to identify etc are in place.
Retention starts to become a salary cap discussion.
